Title: hard drive external enclosure finding help

I have a nice 250gb hard drive that I clawed out from an old Dell Dimension e521 that's looking for a new home. (http://pbs.twimg.com/media/BrvVsqQCQAA1Qdr.jpg) I also have a Wii U that is currently starved for storage.
Now would somebody be so kind as to help me find an external enclosure for this hard drive? That's the one place in this process that I have no clue what I'm dealing with here.

Right let's look at the text on the back.
Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 I'm assuming that's the model number...
A bunch of serial codes... a little 'don't throw away icon' yeah that's totally what I was planning to do
What's this.. ATA (SATA)... looking those up
+5V 0.72A, +12V 0.52A
Canada class B digital apparatus? could be good to know...
I wonder if measuring this thing would help...
Luckily the drive seems to fit well in one of the box segments on the 3ds packaging which is good for safekeeping.

A search for Seagate Barracuda hard drive enclosure hasn't given me much that I can use besides this

I usually search for similar tech on dx.com (http://www.dx.com/s/hard+drive+enclosures) -- but the shipping might be too long for you.
I'd prefer USB 2.0 enclosures over 3.0
I'm pretty sure there is no such thing as Y cable for USB 3.0. And i had some spotty experience with running 3.0 drive through 2.0 cables.
The one you posted is looking pretty nice.

Yeah Rosewill seems to be one of the few hard drive manufacturers
You'll probably be better off with one with a fan (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817173042) since the price is the same
the fan seems to be the main complaint on that one though so I don't know.
And does the y-cable do anything other then let the drive power itself because i'd rather have those USB ports open (gotta plug in that wii-speak somewhere :D)
Also is the Wii U able to break partitions because I believe I have one in the hdd that takes 10-15gbs off the 250gb total for vista os file stuff

The Y cable is just for power, but if you have a drive that's trying to power itself just by USB there's a good chance it'll be required. Mine wouldn't work consistently at all until I got one. And the Wii U will reformat the entire drive in its own proprietary thing, so regardless of the partitions going in, it'll end up as one big Wii U-only drive.

Unfortunately, no.
You have to dedicate an entire disk for Wii U.

What I mean is will it basically be able to remove the partition to access the rest of the drive.

Like I said, it reformats the drive when you connect it to the system, erasing any partitions and using the whole thing as one for it and only it.

Got it, it's installed, it works.
Interestingly the hard drive seems to have degraded to around 236gbs over the years but let's be honest that's still more then enough to store every wii u game worth owning.
I do like the imagery however of the Wii U being given a 9 year old hard drive and keyboard (which I need to get an extension cable for) given how so many people claim that the Wii U itself runs on 9 year old hardware :D
