The 2024 NWR Forum AwardsBest Rerelease or CompilationThis award is for a game or compilation of games that was remade, remastered, or re-released in 2024. The results of the poll will only be revealed once the voting is done (December 15). You should be able to change your vote until then. Even though the official nominees list is closed, you can still reply with a write-in. Best of luck to all the nominees.

Lollipop Chainsaw: RePOPThe re-pop of the cult classic Lollipop Chainsaw released September 12, 2024 and was developed by Dragami Games (with the original game being developed by Grasshopper Manufacture). It currently has a 68 on metacritic with a user score of 7.4.

Persona 3 ReloadThe remake of third Persona RPG released February 1, 2024 and was developed by Atlus. Selling over one million copies in the first week, this was Atlus' fastest-selling game. Persona 3 Reload currently has an 87 on Metacritic with a user score of 8.6.

Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade ClassicsThis compilation of arcade fighters from Capcom released September 12, 2024. NWR gave the game a 9.5/10 and reviewer Joel DeWitte said "anyone with an affinity or curiosity of the genre owes themselves to tag-in with this game".

Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year DoorThis remake of the classic story unfolded on Switch on May 23, 2024. As you might guess, it was developed by Nintendo and has already solve about 2 million units, outselling the GameCube original. NWR gave the original game a 9.5/10 and reviewer Zosha Arushan said "Paper Mario will be a gem for generations to come" and boy were they right.


Congratulations to all the winners. It looks like with a plethora of nominees and a dearth of voting, everyone picked a winner. Thanks to the folks that did vote and allowed us to shine a spotlight on these games.
