Street Fighter is a lock as I've not owned and played one to death since the SNES days. Pilotwings is a lock as I enjoyed both WiiSports Resort flying (though I'v never had the time to fully explore WuHu island) and the demo of it at PAX. Both games can be played in short bursts and compliment each other well with Street Fighter being fast and furious and Pilotwings being calm and laid back. The third game I'm picking up is Steel Diver. It's unique, my unknown and from Nintendo and outside of complaints about it's length (which doesn't bother me in the slightest) looks to be fun.
But now I have a gift certificate to Best Buy to buy ANOTHER 3DS game and I'm having the devil's own time trying to figure which game to pick up!
My choices:
Ridge Racer 3DS: The last Ridge Racer I played seriously was Type 4 for PSone. It has been reviewed well and from numerous impressions seems like a lot of fun with a lengthy career mode. Graphically it looks fine to me and has been said that it looks way better in motion. I haven't owned a fun racer since Mario Kart Wii so this is a game I am very interested in.
Rayman 3DS: I absolutely loved the 2nd game, but never got very far in it due to time restraints when it came out on the N64. Now I get to play a much better version of it in 3D, portably! It's a meaty adventure platformer that I want to own and beat after all these years.
Super Monkey Ball 3DS:Finally! A monkey ball game with a proper frame rate and analog controls! I've never had the time to really dig through the challenges of the later levels in the first game. The proposition of being able to whip out a competent version on the go is just awesome (both previous portable versions just didn't cut it).
Ghost Recon Shadow Wars: Tactical warfare set in modern times? Rainbow Six-like planning? Turn-Based combat in 30+ missions? From the creator of X-Com?
Ranch Dressing? This game has my name written all over it! Plus I'm getting it for free, so what's to lose?Help community!!! I don't know which to pick .
