Title: New Smash Bros Melee Video Review
Post by: D_Average on June 23, 2009, 08:06:36 PM
Still undecided about Smash Bros Melee for the Cube?  Well, maybe this recent video review (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FH1HcceoPuc) will help you out.  Its nice to know the reviewer didn't rush in posting his final opinion like those stupid mainstream outlets.  Sometimes it takes eight years to really sink into a game.

Be sure to hit the link to find out if the game is/was any good.

Eh, I've seen a better one of this type of game.   Pass.

This is still my favourite game. It's too bad I can't somehow forget about it and experience it for the first time once again...

It'll only take you 50 hours to do that, according to the reviewer.  He's credible!

50 hours to do what? That's certainly nowhere near my total time. 2,100 hours in and the game is still enjoyable, even though I don't still know anybody who would play it.

You didn't see?  Reviewer beat the game in 80 hours the first time, and a little over 50 the second time.  I think it only took him 30 hours to beat Brawl, I could have those numbers off just a little.  You could beat it in 50 if you tried again.  Duh.

What constitutes "beating" the game? If you mean 100% completion then, well, even I haven't done that!

Oh.  This guy's better than you.  He's beaten it twice.  Only took fifty hours the second time.

Not to mention, the game's great because so much can happen on stages, but Final Destination is the ultimate stage, since it's flat, and you need to turn items off.  He's just that awesome.

He doesn't specify what qualifies as "beating" the game. For all we know he could just be referring to the Adventure Mode. It took him 50 hours because he one-stocked it on Very Hard.

Final Destination is the worst stage in the game. I mean seriously, it is so boring I just can't stand it.

Twice, squared, making him 4X the boring.

I've beaten it seven years ago!

Oh, sure you have.  If you did, wouldn't you have posted a youtube review?

Good Morning GamePro video reviews existed before Al Gore conceived the internet in his scrotumus maximus.

A perfect example of games that invoke raw emotional response.

Games should be fun, not sad.  Another reason to trade-in Brawl.

The Subspace Emissary didn't make me have emotion.

I kept thinking to myself: "Why the **** is Kingdom Hearts **** doing in my Smash Bros game?"

Then I found out the writer for KH did it, and then I had emotion. I cried. =(
