I'm glad It's a Wonderful World is getting localized.  It seems like a significant departure from the standard S-E RPG in both style and battle system and at least looks like it could be a lot of fun.

While The World Ends With You certainly sounds like a unique setting for an RPG the focus on being trendy or cool kind of turns me off.  Now what's trendy or cool in Japan might be quirky and weird enough for me to like it but a similar idea using American culture would make me want to barf.

I do however love the irony of making an RPG based on current Japanese trends when the trend over there right now is non-games.  The game itself would likely not be popular with the characters in the game.

Meh, a game about being the coolest clique in "da hood" while listening to hiphop? I'd expect something like that from EA, not Square-Enix. That's not a compliment.

Unfortunately, that means it's probably going to sell horribly and SE will go back to working on FF VII spinoffs.
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!
