Apparently Famitsu gave it a very solid 34/40 score.  Hurray for all.

Wow :o  Color me surprised. I guess I'll have to give it a shot come release time in North America.

That score must be some kind of result of mass confusion.

I showed this game to my Professor. He teaches "Intro to Emergency Management and Planning" he thought it was very interesting to say the least.

I'm actually getting excited for this game

MAN! I SOOO had the idea for a game based on natural disasters like, 4 years ago when I was in Geology 101...

Anyways, here's a youtube video of the first 9 minutes of Disaster...

The game looks nicer than I thought it would in motion, but what is up with the bad jumping animations?

When he jumps up a ledge (at around 6:20) it just looks terrible.  =P

That said though, I'll be interested to try it out for myself.

Yeah, that's the only part of it that really weirded me out. Well... that and the punching of rocks and supply crates for power-ups and hamburgers... haha.

PS1 animations confirmed. It looks like it's not 100% waggle time events, so that gives me hope.

Don't get me wrong, I want this game, but I'm gonna make fun if it.

- Lulz at the flooting jump.
- Peeing on the survivor to fix wounds was pretty funny.

I have to say, that fight, even though it would be Colbert approved, looks dull.

Spinnzila, yes it looks dull because of the way the player is playing. Of course you can go fight that bear with guns blazing.Do you want more excitement with more risk? Or will you save your skin and play strategically.

Did any one see the Earthquake video?

Real bears go on a murderous rampage when injured.  I've always heard that if you shoot a bear, you better make sure that you kill it on the first shot.
