B&M welcome back.Where did you find the release date?
Don't know if this was answered yet, but I just assumed it was the release date that I saw at the end of the video. At the very least I should see some reviews popping up on Nov. 25th even if it was from the Japanese release(the video was in english though).

A little birdy with a cool accent told me NWR is gonna get some hands on time with this game soon.  I'm looking forward to hearing how that goes.

Well here is a new trailer that I found. It is the Dutch launch trailer. The majority isn't really new but at the end is a new part. All I am saying is that they are throwing every Natural Disaster in the game even outerspacehas a part in the game.

I was really psyched for Disaster for about a year, and then I read form all the reviewers that it's about an 8-8.5. That's not a terrible score, but I really wanted it to be a blockbuster...
Well, that's what they get for making the shooting parts on-rail!
I'm still getting it (as soon as they get a freaking NA release date) the second it comes out, though.

You've GOT to be joking. Aw gee the game got an 8 =\ (which is a GOOD score. It's not "not terrible", it's GOOD!), time to suicide. That doesn't mean EVERYONE is going to find it an "8 worthy" flop. I don't think any site will EVER give a Wii game without hype a 10, even if Disaster is the best game ever or the best game ever comes along from a third party or a minor Nintendo franchise. It's just the current state of the media. No balls. Afraid to think.

I guess all that matters is you're buying it, good man.

I bet that it won't be Nintendo publishing it if it does come out over here.

Many popular games score between an 8 and 8.9 - it's definitely not the end of the world. Advertising (and Nintendo's usual lack-of) will make or break the game.

Which if this thread is any indication it will have good sales.I heard thus far that some amount above 25,000 but below 30,000 have been sold in Japan.

I only say that because Nintendo doesn't seem willing to take the risk to publish it in the U.S.; it's almost as if they're looking for an excuse not to.  I could see them being disappointed by its Japanese/European sales overall, deciding not to publish it over here (since they'd have to make a bigger production run for the bigger market), and instead selling off the publishing rights to a smaller company like Atlus or D3Publisher.  It would save them the hassle of dealing with a product they don't seem to be 100% behind in the first place.

It's Nintendo's dumb fault for investing in an RPG developer to not make RPGs...

OR IS IT A STROKE OF GENIUS?

Disaster is a mere step in Nintendo's master plan to deprive the hardcore world of its until-now healthy J-RPG market.  Acquiring Monolithsoft was one way to keep an RPG series off the HD hugebox competitors.

2009 will be great for the RPGs for Wii.

So creative and unique, in fact, that Nintendo is in no hurry to release it in the U.S.  I guess we just couldn't handle its astounding quality.

It was out of respect for Microsoft and Sony, they don't want to cream either TOO bad by releasing such a creative game where you punch bears and run away from volcanoes.

Yeah, it's a shame that Microsoft and Sony will have to deal with LittleBigPlanet, Fallout 3, Fable II, and other uncreative releases.  What a pity.
