I'm only about 2 hours into it but here's my impressions so far.

Lots of neat gameplay elements. Driving is heaps fun. shooting is different to what i expected, more of an emphasis on covering and reloading and timing rather than just being an awesome shot. Lots of 'minigames' (for lack of a better word, it all flows quite well) using the wii controls quite nicely, for things like rescuing people and dealing with obstacles. Sometimes it can get annoying with the game treating you like a baby telling you EXACTLY how to do all the different motions, but hopefully this goes away as I get further into the game.

cool atmosphere. It's cheesy and makes no excuses for it, but also has a kind of Resident Evil vibe where it's serious as well. I don't want to compare it to anything because it feels quite unique.

Heaps of unlockables and upgrades and stats and awards. gets a bit confusing. Cool feature you can replay levels straight away after finishing them, and even go back and find items you missed or rescue people you missed or killed.

Lots of variety, but I wont spoil anything. Graphics aren't the greatest, a bit blurry but they are consistant and lend themselves to some spectacular moments.

Music is ok, it's basically the same MGS sounding tune over and over. Hasn't stood out to me yet.

Main character is a very likable dude despite saying **** every second sentence.

I believe that the first few stages have those instructions. It should get better further in.
The unlockables are 100 in number.
That's great that you can go back to the stage. It is a blessing because you probably aren't gonna get everything.Which ties in with the unlockables.

HEARTBROKEN! I went to the shop to get this and Fistéfist Fisters: Fists of Fist  but it wasn't there. This is the same store that claimed their delivery truck was hit by a red shell when they didn't have Mario Kart day one.

It's clear to me know that NOA is hesitant on this release because they're unsure how to market a good game.

No doubt. Greg has issues then. Infernal also loves it, since my opinion isn't credible anymore.

This game's bloody incredible. One of the best single player experieces on the Wii yet; you never know what the hell is going to happen next and it throws so much at you at a rapid pace. Never a dull moment. One minute you're taking down a helicopter with a handgun, the next you're being swept away in a tsunami, only to wash up next to a maniac with a bomb strapped to his chest.

The industry destroying 'mini-games' (uuurrr hurrr can't possibly enjoy those) work really well. Many of them are one-offs and you'll be learning how to control them on-the-fly, which adds to the intensity. Seriously, there are just so many hilariously random, amazing moments. It easily surpasses Disaster Report and Raw Danger on PS2 in this regard, ie; INFERNAL GETS HARD FOR THESE TWO GAMES.

This is my Wii GOTY. <3

JB HiFi had heaps of copies when I got it, but I haven't seen it anywhere else. Nintendo wanted this game to bomb, because that'd just add another Disaster to the game, pretty cool they'd add such an immersive aspect to it. I might buy a second copy because it looks like in a year or so you're going to have to swim across rivers, scale buildings and fight people for a copy. Nintendo could have done a cool competition involving something like that for a free copy of the game. They could have done so much to promote it, disasters appeal to people quite a lot, especially when they aren't real, everyone loves the thrill.

They could have done an easy sequel too just by copying the gameplay and throwing in new scenarios. Everyone loses again.
