Tie in ratio: How many games on average a consumer buys for his/her system.
If the GameCube has a tie-in ratio of 10, it means on average 10 games are bought per GameCube.

Two questions... if you just had to do a study on this why not just list the number of games. Secondly, I wouldn't count things like The Legend of Zelda Collector's Edition and The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time / Master Quest. They don't actually constitute a game purchase.

In the order I find them (U or J denotes imports):
Gotcha Force (currently inserted) Freeloader Final Fantasy: Gimme your CC Sonic Mega Collection Resident Evil 4 Tales of Symphonia (U) P.N. 03 Naruto: Gekitou Ninja Taisen 3 (J) Kururin Squash! (J) Dream Mix TV World Fighters (J) The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker (incl. OOT/MQ) Metal Arms: Glitch In The System Super Mario Sunshine Lost Kingdoms II Viewtiful Joe 2 Metroid Prime 2: Echoes Super Smash Bros. Melee Mystic Heroes Skies Of Arcadia Bloody Roar: Primal Fury Metroid Prime Phantasy Star Online: Episode III C.A.R.D. Revolution Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem Evolution Worlds Soul Calibur 2 Doshin The Giant The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures Lost Kingdoms Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Boring Life Phantasy Star Online: Episode I and II Viewtiful Joe Mario Kart: Double Dash!! Ikaruga Burnout 2: Point Of Impact
And, if it ever arrives: Bleach GameCube: Tasogare ni Mamieru Shinigami (J)
Many of the crappy games are because the GC's lack of releases especially during the first year I owned it. 34 + Bleach. 33 if you don't count the Freeloader.

I have 63 titles in my collection but I also have two gamecubes, so my tie in would be 31.5:1. There is no way I'm going to list them all here.

No just want certain games in a sealed unmolested form. In case i loose them and they are later hard to find also one never knows when a certain game will fetch a lot of money on Ebay, collectors items maybe. ;-) Besides i only paid 15 bucks for the second purchase, except RE4, I bought 2 collectors editions the day it came out. 15 bucks is small piece of mind for a backup of my favorite games, since i hate used games, all scratched up and all...I can very well be nuts. Oh well. Here are the games i bought twice.
Eternal Darkness Beyond Good and Evil Every Resident Evil Both Metroid Primes soon Killer 7 when it hits 15 bucks.

The games I own are too embarrassing to post.
It pisses me off to no end when people consider Star Fox Adventures a waste of time. Yeah, it wasn't Star Fox, but it was one of the most beautiful, most atmospheric (almost on Metroid Prime levels), and just plain fun games hte GameCube has to offer.

How sad is it that I have almost as many accessories as I have actual games...
- Edit to update a few more games I've recently acquired, along with two additional pieces of hardware I've picked up.
- Edit again, again. For some reason, although I added DDR on the original list, I've left out the two dance pads all this time. Also, I added the spectacular Odama, the mic, and the two Mic Clips (one, I ordered).
- Edit again, again, again - Added Mario Party 4/3rd WaveBird.
- Edit again, again, again, again - added two more demo disc and the GBm->GCN Cable.
- Edit again, again, again, again - adding my 4th WaveBird, Intec Monitor, a second Controller Extention Cable and the twin Joes...
- Edit again, again, again, again - Adding my 5th WaveBird, two more Mic Clips (ordered), two Bongos, BW, FE and CR...
-and again -added a bunch of stuff because I forgot about this thread.

Whoa Uncle Bob, with no Resident Evil 4
And KDR and Jasonditz without Metroid Prime 2!
Almost had a heart attack with those impressive collections and these titles are excluded! Its an outrage. Jk. Very cool collections notwithstanding the aforementioned oversights. Im too lazy to post mine.

I know I'm in the minority, but I didn't enjoy Metroid Prime enough to play it all the way through... let alone get the sequel.
The stuff on my wish list right now is more things like Pokemon XD, Fire Emblem, Battalion Wars, etc... hoping they come down in price soon because I hate paying full price.
The one old game that I'm still kicking myself for not getting was Custom Robo. I wanted that game, and waited and waited for Media Play to reduce all those copies they had. Now they're out of business and I'm stuck poking around on eBay.

And KDR and Jasonditz without Metroid Prime 2!
Do you mean My List /{Metroid Prime 2} = Your List or what? Because I have MP2:E in my list. Didn't play it far because I got stuck at the boost guardian and don't care enough to continue but it didn't magically disappear from my collection.

DOH!
Vudu is correct. I must have missed it. And i double checked, lol. Sorry.
Anyway the boost guardian was the hardest fight in the game, i think anyway. On Hard most it is almost impossible. I beat it after at least 30 tries on Hard. And i know it was luck. Never will i fight the Boost Guardian on Hard again.

I had to fix a few things on my list that I forgot.. Nothing major or anything..
Nosferat2 - I haven't found RE4 for really cheap yet (like $10 or less). Unless it's a game that I really, *REALLY* want, I wait for 'em to go cheap or to get a good deal on 'em.

Wow I never realized how many GC titles I had till I looked at this thread. The offical count thus far is around 147 games, but I'm sure I'm missing some. I haven't played them all yet, but I have at least fiddled around with the bulk of them. The only games I still really want to pick up for the system are Burnout, Gauntlet, RE2, RE3, Baten Kaitos, Killer 7 and Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast... I'm not a collector or anything, I just own one current gen system and stumble upon a looooot of cheap games.

Lord god. I was happy to have 20ish games for my GC and my modest DS collection of 5. Oh, and I just received Minish Cap from Amazon this afternoon. Expecting Astro Boy - Omega Factor within the next week or so.
Either way, those are some impressive lists.
I'm really interested in the tie-in ratios now. World-wide ones. I always figured they'd be pretty high for the GC, despite all the complaining about the lack of games and 3rd party support.

That must be gold worthy. I mean, I don't know anyone who owns more than 3 or 4 games for their PS2. Actually, most people I know who actually own or consider owning a ps2 do it for the wrong reasons. These are the people that can stand to play driver3. I suppose they're the ones who wouldn't purchase a gamecube. Not sure what I'm saying here.

Hey, at least there's one worthwhile thread going on in this section. Mine added two (Killer 7 and Paper Mario), btw.

Hey, thanks. I would have forgotten to update mine with my latest items if you hadn't listed yours!
So... how many of you are complete geeks who have your games on the shelf in alphabetical order?

I tend to put my games in order of awesomeness....
(first game on shelf: Ocarina of Time. Although, actually I think it's in my N64 right now.)

The only reason my list is in alphabetical order is due to the fact that I wrote a program to keep track of all my games(I have waaaaaaaaaaaaay too many, see sig) and the program puts all the titles in alphabetical order. When I was a kid I used to keep them in alphabetical order on my shelf. Now I group by similar games(All LoZ's will go together) and I group by publisher/developer. So I would group Sonic Mega Collection with Skies of Arcadia and the Super Monkey Balls. Yes I am a nerd.

Oh fine, I'll join. Yes, I keep my collection in mostly alphabetical order, although if I consider games to be part of a series (Zelda) I tend to put them in chronological order. Edit: added F Zero GX.
47 Games + 3 Bonus Discs = 50.
007: Everything or Nothing Alien Hominid Animal Crossing Beyond Good and Evil Burnout 2: Point of Impact Capcom vs. SNK 2 EO Carmen Sandiego: Secret of the Stolen Drums Cubivore Dance Dance Revolution: Mario Mix Donkey Kong Jungle Beat Donkey Konga Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem Extreme G 3 Future Tactics F Zero GX Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life I-Ninja The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Master Quest The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker The Legend of Zelda Collector's Edition Luigi's Mansion Mario Kart: Double Dash Mario Party 5 Metal Arms: Glitch in the System Metroid Prime 2: Echoes Bonus Disc Mortal Kombat: Deception Pac-Man World 2 Pac-Man Vs. Bag organization for me. I'll have the number after I go downstairs to count.

One more accessory and I'll have a 1:1 ratio of accessories to software (not counting freebies/demos/program discs)... Unless I count the actual GameCube as an accessory.. or perhaps I could just say that I have a 1:1 ratio of Hardware/Accessories to Software....

Yay! I now have more Accessories than I have software (not counting freebies/demos/program discs). Damn, I'm good.
Does anyone else update their list here, or is it just me?

Doesn't tie-in ratio = games that were bought new? Used stuff doesn't count, correct?
Anyways, I own...
Metroid Prime 1/2 Pikmin 1/2 Animal Crossing Luigi's Mansion SSBM Wind Waker Viewtiful Joe Paper Mario 2 Super Mario Sunshine Mario Kart: DD!! Resident Evil 4 Sonic Collection Mega Man Collection Eternal Darkness Rogue Squadron 2 Donkey Kong Jungle Beat Killer 7 SSX Tricky Super Monkey Ball Mario Party 5 THPS3
That's 24 games (not counting my two Zelda collections and Metroid Prime 2 demo), and I only bought 13 of them brand new.

Damnit! As soon as I saw this thread return I knew it was UncleBob.
It is possible to update your post without posting a new one to tell everyone that you updated it.
(Look at that; I began and ended a sentence with it. I'm cool.)

It's not as if the GameCube board is running rampant with activity anyway. Much like the release schedule of the GameCube now.
