Just calling it now, Zelda U release date is November 18th 2016.

I would be stunned if it released before November 2016

I'm sad to see that guillaume wasn't satisfied by Zip Lash. I played it start to finish and liked it. Not a game if replay any time soon or go for that 100% but it's an amusing platformer. Yoshi on the other hand is well worth going for the 100%

I'm with James on the whole NX as 2 devices. I think it would be a mistake to totally consolidate the handheld and home console into 1 hybrid device that plays games both ways. A big part of what makes Nintendo special are those handheld specific experiences. It would be really sad to see those kinds of games go away for w portable console

Agreed. I actually prefer a light, unobtrusive story. Really happen to hear this fits the bill

Nice! Super stoked for this game!

And I'll be printing out some nice box art so I can vainly display it in my library. I'd prefer a disk but I can work around it

Yeah, that's totally fair. The game should make you want to participate in actual gameplay rather than avoid it. Negative points for not being the most fun encounters. Points for the option of efficiency I suppose?

Fun show as always!

It's nice to hear a legit discussion of SF Command without a ton of trashing it. It has its flaws but also has some merits. I liked it quite a bit.

I think the most fun I had with Command was when I really started to figure out the strategy of the overworld sections - using the Great Fox and extra fuel etc to bypass the plethora of encounters and get down to the main objective quickly. It really helped pick up the pace of the game. And since most of the encounters were all very similar, it felt a lot less redundant

Super excited for this! I really like the battles and I especially like the emphasis on exploration.

By healing your party after battles, they make it much easier to fully fill in the map without having to constantly go back to the inn, stock up on healing items, etc... They really cut out a lot of the *** of JRPGs. Seems the a lot of JRPGs have been doing that recently

as much as i hate to agree with james, i don't think we're due for a new handheld anytime soon (as in a new platform, a new 3DS iteration is possible and even likely). i think a lot of the speculation about a new handheld stems from Nintendo's silence on the 3DS front at E3. i fully expect that the 3DS will have a solid lineup for 2015 featuring the usual suspects of SquareEnix, Level 5, Atlus and Nintendo. i think we'll know more about the 3DS in 2015 at an end-of-the-year Nintendo Direct.

also, Guillaume is my favorite. just sayin

i'm really starting to like these guys. they're putting quite a few games onto the wii u. and they have a pretty good track record too. i recently got Fluidity Spin Cycle as my CN platinum reward. i dig what they're doing, so they'll get some money from me.

well played, sir.

what i like about this is that i can continue to ignore all the business hullabaloo that we, as gamers, too often get hung up on. let's just play some games.
