Any way to close an account?

Duality:
 Like to have this account closed, any way to do that?

As far as I know no there isn't. The software may of been updated since I was last here so maybe someone has a more recent answer.

This is an odd request. May I ask why you want the account closed? Is it because you want to change your username? That can be done without closing the account.

Looking at the history, the user has only made 1 single post before this in Dec. 2006. So, I'm not sure why the sudden urgency to close the account when it doesn't seem to have been getting used in the first place.

For security - plus I do not have a use for it since I do not visit here often.

May I ask what you need secure? Because we ban the account. But I'm not sure if that would do what you need. Likewise, we could alter and edit information in the profile if need be but you might be able to do that too depending on what you want to secure.
