Last chance to call a DK MEGATON for E3 2017 ITT
Will it be DKC Returns 3? A DKC trilogy remake-reboot? Will Candy Kong kiss again?

Its gotta be the DKC trilogy in HD using DKC Returns engine and the open world game.

Again, totally should do Uncharted style Donkey Kong. Climb Temples, swing from vines. Melee though. I never liked Uncharted gun system. Though they could have coconut guns, it's not unprecedented.
It should have banana collection of course.

Donkey Kong 64 Returns - DK Island is attacked by the Golden Banana Horde led by Genghis Kong who pillage and rape the land and Candy Kong causing Donkey Kong and his buddies to go ape-**** crazy in retaliation leading to the climatic feces throwing battle over the tallest building in New Donk City.

If there ever will be another 3Donk platformer I feel this would be a very good idea yeah. Get a jetpack section or two in there with Diddy, give Dixie some screentime, do a race level or 2 on animal buddies. And unlockable Cranky Mode so you can walk super slow but pogo stick hella fast.
Here's another, less plausible idea: Mario vs DK, but done in Mario Odyssey style. Just a 3D city platformer with both as very differently playing characters. You could do a marketing thing where you first show the original arcade game and then shablammo suddenly DK is chucking 4kHD1080pHDRinterlaced barrels from the Empire State with Mario dodging and trying to climb up? Could be super cool right?

Donkey Kong Jungle Beat Returns. Slide each Joy Con into a bongo (sold separately) or dig out that Smash Bros. controller adapter to reel in the nostalgia.

It would be funny to go back to his roots and kidnap a human woman who seems to be under attack by rogue plumbers. He escapes with her through jungles and into a city, finally scaling a construction site and defending her by throwing barrels.

Now I'm even more convinced that Retro is working on another Donkey Kong game. The signs are there. They are not working on Metroid Prime 4 and they've worked on Donkey Kong before. I think I've solved it.
Plus, when Retro does announce the new DK game they are working on, fans will be more receptive since they know a Metroid game is in the works so DK isn't denying them something unlike how the DKCR:TF reveal went down.

Now that I've thought about it, I bet it's because they literally have no room on the floor for more than one megaton anymore. Odyssey is taking up half the space as it is.

The majority of the internet stays at home. It doesn't matter about show floor because e3 is nothing more than an annual marketing display.

More shows at more events. Increase the number of Nintendo Stores. Based on population there's should be additional ones in California, Florida, and Texas.

Is this something? Retro Studios' Twitter feed wished people happy holidays and happy Switch launch day, and that was it for all of 2017--for the most part.
