Possible fan change for GC

Just wondering if its possible to replace the fans in the gamecube. I want to place LED fans inside. Has anyone tried this?

I was thinking of doing it, but I could not find any led fans the right size.  If you manage to find some let me know.

I think the GC takes 60mm and all I could find is 80mm led fans.

u can just add LED's to the fan there, but it wont glow the entire fan like clear fans. LED fans are nothing more than a clear fan with a Diode somewhere on the fan, u dont need an led fan, u need a 60mm clear fan whcih u can add LED's to later. there must be someother way to power led's from inside the cube, i doubt anyone would go around messing with this though.

Can't find 60mm clear fans either, I checked it out.  The closest thing I found was an aluminum fan, might work.  Not as good as a clear fan though.

I'm gonna attach my GameCube to a table fan, using a horn-shaped tunnel made of duct tape.

Cool, and instead of LEDs you can tape some flashlights to the fan.  That will look super.

lol @ professional...

Anyways, I was actually somewhat curious about this myself, but was always concerned about opening up my GameCube, and making it noisier than it need be.  Does anyone know how possible it would be to replace the 60mm fan with an 80mm one though?

i wouldn't mind adding some blue leds to it my lazy man PC case mod (the case comes pre modded ) looks cool and i want to do that to my cube, i want to change my power LED to blue also, but i would be well too worried to actually do this, as ive never done it before :\
