I have had so much fun with this game.  Still though when I got to Eventide  Island.

I was doing so well there on the island for a long time.   Then I ended up about dead with no food to really restore most hearts.   I had some stuff worth cooking but not really worth eating raw.   I worked my way through this monster camp to use their cooking pot.   I'm on the last guy and I have about half a heart of health.

BAM!  Blood Moon.   I almost died laughing as I ran from the camp in fear as they all respawned.  Only to have to rework my assault on the camp slowly to get back to that precious cooking pot.  Loved every minute of it!

I have enjoyed this game so much, yet I have hardly progressed in the story at all.  I have spent most of my time just exploring and checking out so many sights.   I just this morning finally got the map filled in for every zone.  Yet I have just barely scratched many of them.  The world has just been a blast to explore.

Also yikes, I had no idea Wizrobes would be so daunting in my exploration and tower attempts.

Whew it almost seems just like yesterday we were all doing with this with the 3DS,  at least now it's only one way.  ^_^

Quite excited, mine has shipped from Amazon and is on scheduled for delivery today.  Usually UPS doesn't come here till well into the afternoon though.   So I still got some waiting to do.   I'm just relieved it shipped.

I'm still day one purchase myself, in fact stayed up to get my amazon preorder here in the states.  I have to say though the conference didn't really boost excitement.   Might have even dulled me slightly.  Although both Mario and Zelda look fantastic.   There were a few times during the conference I actually burst out in laughter, along with head shaking.

I'm not sure if I am more disappointed in nintendo for not having any kinda crossbuy, or more disappointed in myself for thinking that by now they would have stopped recharging for stuff on the same account.  Kinda killed any hype the announcement had for me.

I made two levels which I honestly don't consider to be much.. I did them with the first basic tool kit before I went on to really unlock the rest.   They were more just trying out the tools for the first time and getting the hang of the system.   Although I can say they are pretty short.  (That's probably their best quality.)  :)

First one is

Easy Peasy

67D9-0000-0012-A6BE

Second is

Bouncing Nom

C560-000-0016-5C7E

Now that I took the time to unlock everything yesterday though, I look forward to building a real level that is more traditional.

Of the top of my head, an animal crossing match 3 type game.

Basically you just have a house, there is no real world.    The game play is playing a simple match 3 type game.  You unlock some kinda currency to get house upgrades and items for your house.

Can have special daily goals or what not, to earn extra currency or special items.    Perhaps there are only a couple items available to "buy" for your house each day, to keep you checking daily.

A bit cliche, but match 3 games work well, combining it collecting of animal crossing might be appealing.

Had this been an Amiibo I might have gotten it, it would also have been my first Amiibo.   I think that is the only way I would have been tempted by a figure.   So I guess I will go digital.  I haven't actually bought a physical game on 3DS in almost 2 years, even then it was just a really good deal on Star fox I couldn't pass up.

Still glad to see North America getting something, and I hope it pleases some fans.

Wow, until I read this thread I forgot about how it really has been over ten years now.   I remember the year leading up to the DS.   I had made a deal with a nephew of mine who was slightly troubled.   If he could keep his grades all A's and B's and not get into any major trouble, that me and my mother would each pay for half of a DS for him.

I want to say it was around Christmas and he had kept the first half of the school year very good.  So we got him the DS along with the Mario 64 re release.   I had also gotten that when the system launched.  Sometimes now I wonder if doing little things like that for him, helped him at all with lot of this troubled childhood.  I remember that we would play the mini games multiplayer that came with the Mario 64 re release.

It's kinda interesting to look back, I think honestly I remember that the most about the entire DS lifespan.  Perhaps trying to get Animal Crossing to work with a long distance friend of mine.   I remember us talking on Teamspeak or Skype trying and finally getting it to work.  How crazy it seemed to be using the Original DS for some form of online multiplayer and trading fruit with each other.

Glad you guys got them.  I was secretly afraid that someone might nab them that doesn't even have an account here.  I figured sharing them with the NWR community was the best thing I could do with the extras I had.  :)  Hope you guys have fun with them.

I have two codes that are for anyone to have. I'm just going to post them here, so first come first serve for the 3DS smash demo.   If someone takes one, I would ask that you post to let others know it's taken though.  Just to be polite.  :)

I might just have to dip on this system.   I still use my original launch black 3DS.   I'm so cheap, I have avoided the xl's even though I really kinda want one.   Now this, and Xenoblade, which I didn't play on the wii.    I might just have to jump in on it.

Still not sure about that second nub stick.  Doesn't look very comfortable, but I won't judge it yet.  The extra shoulder buttons too look a bit iffy.  Will be glad to hear some hands one reports when people can actually use this thing.   If the word is pretty good, and money is okay at the time, I might finally upgrade from my launch unit.

I'm personally going Zelda.   Although if I didn't have many other reasons stacking up for it, I would probably choose Super Mario 3D World.

Given I want to get Zelda digitally on my 3DS, I figure I will buy it that day.  Every year my mother wants to know something she can get me for Christmas.  So I figure I will tell her Mario 3d World.   This way I can keep my zelda game digital on the 3ds, and have any easy answer for my mother when that time comes.

Nothing like being almost 30 and still telling your mom a game you want for Christmas. :P

Nintendo Gaming / Re: Streetpass me!
« on: November 03, 2013, 01:17:16 AM »
I actually did this and used the neogafs one for awhile.  It seems like there is almost no one still using it though, or at least the one I was using.    Was nice cause outside of doing this, I have only ever gotten 2 street passes since launch day.

I felt kinda like I was cheating the system, but in reality I wasn't going to get streetpasses where I live.   Most of the places I go are not exactly full of technology.   It was pretty nice though to finally get some puzzle pieces and even play the new streetpass games for a few weeks/months.

I'm really disappointed in this.  It's not like I used it daily, but I did use it.  It was a nice, and interesting social device for the 3ds.     I hope when Miiverse hits the 3ds it at least gives us some kinda messaging, cause there isn't one for the 3ds now.

Nintendo Gaming / Re: No one plays Animal Crossing online?
« on: June 29, 2013, 12:45:15 AM »
My major problem with online has been I haven't had much longer than 15-20 mins to sit down and play a day recently. If I open my town up during that short time I can't donate items to the museum and such.

I really wish you could host your town while your 3DS is in sleepmode.  So I could just leave it on and plugged in.

Just downloaded the game tonight!  So sad it was so late and I couldn't do much besides just setting up my village and getting welcomed into it.

My native fruit is Oranges, in case anyone wants to do some underground shady fruit trading!

My 3DS friend code is 2406-5138-0670 if anyone wants to add me, just pm me and let me know and I will add you back.   Anyone is welcome to come to my town when it's open to poke around or take a few oranges if they want.  (Although I might ask not to take them all, so others can have them too.  Me included.)  :)

The money is already paid off and setting on my 3DS's E-shop account.   This game is honestly my most wanted 3ds game so far.

I don't know why, but I love the series.  I love just checking in daily and doing a few things in my town.  Having it digitally always on my system is going to be perfect.    Really looking forward to it!

Since it's Thursday morning, thought I would post my final update.  Never got around to beating it, the week turned much more busy than I had hoped.    I hope to go back and finish though. I ended up going
Top - Shadow-Magnet- Spark- Snake.     After that I couldn't play much more cause of things going on.

I do have to say I agree with everyone else the slow down was pretty bad in some spots.   Yet I honestly used a lot of the slow down to my advantage.   Kinda plotting out my moves with it.  So it wasn't too bad.   I kinda felt like the game, at least what I played was easier than I remember.  Might be because I took it a bit slower and tried to learn the patterns, more than I probably did as a kid.

Still really enjoyed playing Mega Man 3.  It's also been a blast reading everyone's opinions and experiences.  Looking forward to hearing more on RFN.

As a kid I always went Snake man first.  I don't know why, there wasn't any real strategy or anything I just always started with him.  The funny thing is I still remember that stage as an adult now. Maybe because I played it so much.  I originally decided to play like that, which I did on my first start.

Today though I decided to retry and do one of the more practical orders. So I started with Top man, was shocked at how easy the stage was in comparison.  I don't remember that stage at all, yet had no problem with it.   Going to move on to Shadow next.

It's funny how I have replayed the X series so much, yet I haven't revisted the original series in a very long time.

Pretty neat.  I signed in and checked my feed.   Will be nice to see this expanded, and I can't wait for it to get to 3DS later this year.

*Edit*    This kinda also allows one to save their screenshots to the pc, that they posted on Mii Verse.  That is kinda nice.

Glad to hear there will be leader boards.  Will it be just global leader boards, or a friends leader boards too?
