Oh, I dropped Perms name. But he was farther down the list because I was relying to much on conjectures from scattered voting records. When the mafia was down to 4 I believed they were Oohhboy, Nickmitch, Daaaman, and Perm in that order from mostlikely to least. I had an alternate theory that had Pale as the GF and after I died Maxi and I played crazy guessing games about an epic ruse where Pale was GF, Vudu was just pretending to be the investigator and Yoshidious was a noble sacrifice to the cause.

You, Maxi and Mop_it_up both revealed enough for me to realise you and Mop were probably both roled townies.
Looks more like others revealed more about me than I did about myself. Next game, I really am going to swear vendetta on Stratos.

I never said anything regarding you being who you were to Dasmos. He guessed that from our behavior. I didn't even tell Maxi that you had a special role because I didn't want him to guess too early. That was all from his cunning.

LOL at MiP. Didn't someone decide to call you Mop it up?

I have been holding on to that money because I've been tight on cash without a job. But I'm moving back with my folks and going back to my old job at Pizza Hut for a while to save up money to return and finish school later. Since I have work again I feel safe spending it instead of holding it for a financial emergency. And my folks do have a good internet connection, it's the one I used in both the Mario Kart and Bomberman Wi-Fi nights.

When the game comes in the mail and I get it set up I'll post my codes. Do you all have WiiSpeak as well?

It's actually a 2 1/2 year limit in the original. I think it was a nice thing because it gave you an end goal. Though I don't see any harm in letting the game continue on afterward.

Yeah, like what Easycure said, the 1st GC version left a sour taste in my mouth and killed the series to me until I saw Rune Factory. The N64 one is the best I agree and then the SNES one is close behind it. The only fault I have for the SNES one is that there are few things to do in the fall and winter aside from crops and wooing. I was too good when I played it again on the VC and so I had nothing to do half the day. It got too monotonous because I already had all the house upgrades by the first Summer and was stalling with marriage because I wanted to get married in the Winter since that's my favorite season in real life. I just kept buying cows and chickens. It's now the same old chores. The N64 one almost has too much side things to do. I really liked mining.

So I just found the game with WiiSpeak for only $40 on Amazon and decided to get it with my birthday money. Should be getting it in a week or so. Expect my FC up shortly. I've never played an AC game before so I'm highly curious about trying it.

Interesting thoughts. I've been debating which Harvest Moon/Rune Factory game I should get for my sister since she likes the series a lot and this really helps with my decision.

Maxi and I agreed on day one to be open with each other on our roles, so we were committed for better or worse. We then attempted to recruit other townies for our voting. Through that we each got the other roles but for the sake of security we kept these other roles from each other. We would say when we found them but not who they were.

I never revealed a role to Pale for security sake.

Sometimes you just have to take a risk to get the ball rolling and build an alliance. You are stabbing in the dark after all.

Well you had said that you had only found 2 roled townies on Day 2. I can assume you were lying then?

Combined we found all but one. He found two, I found one and I was the other. Did I forget a role?

I was Saint
Mop it up was Vote Changer
NorthSea was the Doctor
Vudu was the Investigator

Well we knew RAB was just a townie so there was really no mystery about who they were voting for.

Also it was less of a case of me being admirable and more of a case of not knowing enough meaningful information to go back and tell the rest of the team.

That's because we purposely withheld information from you. We forged our alliance in more of a cell structure to avoid leaks like you could have been. That was one of the reasons I was groping around in the main thread for the investigator and doctor. I knew that Maxi had found them but he did not reveal who they were. There are pros and cons to doing things that way.

I would have dropped the Rabicle charge if he had messaged me with a response to his PMs but silence condemned him.

I just KNEW Pale was mafia. I also suspected Perm.

One very valuable lesson I learned this game was not to rely too much on voting records that was where the deductions for Nickmitch, Daaaman and Oohhboy came from but in reality they were just confused townies.

I was hesitant with the Daaaman vote, he was putting on a good defence and if I had logged on later that night I would have changed it to Oohhboy or Nickmitch.

Even though I was 'truced' with Pale in PMs I still held a suspicion against him. In fact I had hoped to go along with his Nickmitch vote and then planned to go after Pale if Nickmitch had turned out to be a townie like he was.

I'll post one of my PMs to Pale because I find some ironic humor in it. I vote Pale for MVP

Quote from: Stratos PM
I know I've voice suspicions towards you, but I notice you and Yoshidious are not getting along and he is also high on my suspicion list.

I am considering joining your bandwagon and possibly could bring a few others on board as well.

What say you? What do you know?

Quote from: Pale PM
I just know I have a really reliable Townie source that's all.  I voted for you because I was suspicious of you but didn't now for sure and then my source told me to vote for Yoshidious.. so I did.

Quote from: Stratos PM
Our source may be the same. I'm going to believe you are not the godfather and 'put aside' my suspicions of you. But I'm going to try and keep it up as a front to make the mafia think I still view you as a priority suspect.

LOL, if you are the GF -and if my source was truthful that is the only mafia role you could be- then you will have a good laugh over me in the end.

Who do you think is mafia?

I'm suspicious of Oohhboy, Daamaan for sure and Nickmitch (placed in order)

Insanolord and Perm are also suspects but lower. Insanolord has a history of low participation but still, that's a great front to use similar to how I saw your stevey lesson being a perfect front as well.

There are only 4 mafia left and if the first three I listed are mafia then there is only the GF to find (unless one of them is the GF).

I should also note that it had slipped my notice that the impostor role came back as townie as well until my last day alive. My fault for just glancing over the roles.

But I want "Mop's Brand Tastey Cookie Treats"...  :'(
You didn't trademark that so I'm going to call them that when I market them. I'm even going to use your misspelling of "tasty" to be cute. ♥

It's a good idea, go for it. I'd buy some.

You know what would make me go back to Pokemon? Get rid of the HM's. They're frustratingly limiting. I hate hauling Bibarrel around (he's my HM slave) just so I can cut down a bush or shove a rock. Use high-level Pokemon instead, like old RPG's did.

I agree with being frustrated with HMs. I refuse to use any of the weak HMs on my main team with the exception of Fly and Surf. It seems that every game adds some new HMs and they just detract from the experience for me. Defog, Rock Climb, Rock Smash, Strength, Waterfall, Surf, Fly, Cut and Whirlpool. Yikes! Maybe they could allow you to teach HM moves aside from your four regular moves and only allow them to be used outside of battle.

Though I'd like each of your monsters to be able to learn more than four moves at once. four feels a bit limiting.

"The Wii has a lot of casual gamers and we didn't want to leave anyone behind." <P>

Eh? RE is going to have a casual mode?

Madworld will be a slow burner. It'll get a couple hundred thousand in sales I think.

The REmake is indeed played with just the Remote.

It is? Not even with the Nunchuck?

Cost of licensing it for the game maybe.

And are you sure Brawl used it?  Havok's own website says nothing about it: http://www.havok.com/content/blogcategory/29/73/

I'm pretty sure I read it on the back of the box. Let me check, it's box is packed away at the moment, I'll get back to you on it in a few minutes.

The box is still back at my old place so I can't check there tonight.  Here's an article stating it instead.

Are there any cookies left?
Dasmos claimed they were stale and threw them away. I think he was lying however...
I was. I really just ate them all.
I knew it! Nobody would throw away my cookies, not even if they were stale.

No offense Stratos but your cookies probably wouldn't be very good. I could get you some store-bought cookies in the meantime.

But I want "Mop's Brand Tastey Cookie Treats"...  :'(

Can someone explain to me why I've decided to defend Penguins & Friends so vigorously?

You have a penguin fetish.

Why are we talking in spoiler tags? It feels like everyone's whispering for no good reason.

14445
If you want some cookies you'll have to wait until next game. Just get me voted out or something, then get yourself out, and we'll have a cookie soirée in the dead thread.

But I want them now...

Maybe I'll make my own.

One thing that people have complained about before is the physics engine. It doesn't use Havoc. I would at least like to see dead bodies bounce around by the grenades, but I don't think its a game killer. But the way the characters move is very floaty, nothing like Halo or Gears.

Also, the guns are voted on by the players. There could be more videos and they are just putting a few out at a time.

If they release them over time then they get more hits because people are returning every day to get more. Makes them more money.

Why don't they use Havoc? Did they make a proprietary physics engine too? Even Smash Brothers Brawl used Havoc.

There are several games like that I own legitimately but lost the manual to them.

Though in the Age of Internets, someone has most likely placed these manual codes online somewhere so it would never work nowadays.
