Topic: NWR Community Game of the Month - March 2013

Nintendo World Report is starting a new feature called Game of the Month, where each month the staff picks their favorite game from the past month. To go along with this, we're planning on doing the same thing with our community.


This thread is to decide what the community pick for March is. Vote in the poll above to pick your favorite game, and if you think a game is missing from it let me know. Make your best argument for your pick in the thread below, and your post may be quoted in the site feature.

We're not planning on doing anything formal in that regard, due to being a Nintendo site and all, but feel free to make your case in this thread in addition to your Nintendo-related vote and we may end up including some of those as well.

Well, it may be obvious but: Bioshock Infinite. With a masterfully crafted and a believable yet unbelievable world that feels alive in every way shape and form, and an engaging story with a brilliant ending, mixed with fun as hell combat, it's without a doubt my favorite game of March, and will probably be one of my favorites this year.

I've enjoyed learning Monster Hunter with the Wii U version, but I would have to choose Lego City: Undercover for March.  It's been the most fun I've ever had playing a GTA-esque game, and I find the humor entertaining as hell. 
 
While Monster Hunter has you building towards something, Lego City: Undercover is unrestrained fun from the start.

That might be a good idea this month given how many releases there were, but a lot of the time there won't be enough games coming out to warrant two separate contests, so we figured one award across all platforms was the way to go.

I went with NFS Most Wanted only because everything I've heard about it from accounts here and reviews and videos is it's an evolution of Burnout Paradise and I loved that game.  I'm hoping to be able to play it one day and would prefer it on the Wii U (whenever I get around to getting one).

As for games I played this month, Tomb Raider is it.  I've had a lot of fun with this game and I think it's the best storyline of any TR game ever.  As for the gameplay, I'd say it's like an easy version of Uncharted with a lot more to collect.
