Wait, is the Wii version only available in the collector's edition? I thought it was going to be a first print run kinda deal...

You are right - the whole first print run should have the Wii version included. No idea how many copies that entails.

FYI: $75 is the price (in Canada) for just the game alone. Getting the collector's edition here is more expensive - after shipping and currency conversion it rings in at just over $110.

I'm torn on Rodea. Really want the Wii game, but the price ($75) is steep even if that is for a 2-in-1 deal.
Hope you post impressions about the game!
I will definitely post some impressions!

I should mention that the collector's edition has the artbook and some other goodies in addition to the Wii version- it is in fact a first print thing, and will be bundled with the normal Wii U retail release. Didn't want to rain on anyone's parade!

Atlus is running a sale on the eShop right now, which seems like an opportunity that might never present itself again, so I decided to pick up Etrian Odyssey Untold, a remake of a DS game I owned and enjoyed what seems like a very long time ago.

Psychonauts (Steam): Supposedly the greatest game ever made by the greatest company ever. It was a $1.50 so I sold some TF2 inventory and got it.

*Sigh* Traded in a few crappy games I got for free and bought Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon for PC on sale from Gamestop's site. My mistake because it uses the Uplay client. It was about $3.99, but still this sucks. I'll deal with it later.

Grabbed HuniePop while it was on sale on Steam. Not the biggest fan of dating sims but seeing how the dates are actually puzzle games, it's probably more like the real thing than the usual hentai games.

I picked up ZaciSa's Last Stand of the eshop FOR SIXTY NINE DANG CENTS. (75 cents with tax)

Fun little tower defense, almost sim-like gameplay.

Is it on sale? I have 50 cents of eShop credit left and could use it up on that.

I cashed in all of my coins and my gold gift from Club Nintendo and got Metroid Fusion and Yoshi's Island on the Wii U and also Dillon's Rolling Western on 3DS.

I ALMOST went with Mario 64 instead since I have really been wanting to play it and my cart is lost. I decided against it because it was only Wii, not Wii U, and also because I am confident we will get a re-release/re-make very soon. Plus, I may just pick up the DS remake for the extra content if I get too impatient for the remake.

I bought a couple of the PSP Star Wars Battlefront games since they're on sale and they updated them so they're playable on Vita now.

I looked at those games, but wasn't sure how good they actually are... any impressions?

Lots of stuff on sale over PSN right now. I also looked pretty hard at Gurumin which is supposed to be a cool little Zelda clone, and any RPG fan who doesn't already own Suikoden 2 should buy while it's on sale.

I bought Galactic Civilizations 3, a game whose imminent release was enough in and of itself to get me to install a Windows partition. 4X strategy in space is a genre of game that I go way back with, and I'm looking forward to sinking a ton of time into this.

Another space-based PC game I'm looking forward to is Elite: Dangerous, which launches for Mac in a week. To prepare for that, I've spent too much money on a Thrustmaster T-Flight Hotas X Flight Stick to play it with.

Aww, yeah. Thrustmaster.

I'll go now.

I snagged an Indigo GameCube controller. It's in good condition. I have all the colors I want except this rare-ish Japanese-only one.

Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth (3DS) - Just to spite people who don't like backlogs.   ;)

I've decided that I want to collect the Etrian Odyssey games on 3DS, and figure this is essentially part of that series despite the Persona theme. (Oddly, I don't care about the Mystery Dungeon cross-over though.) Yes, it's an Atlus game so will eventually be $15 on 3DS eShop... but I always prefer physical and really liked the extra goods in the Premium Edition that was on sale.

Since it's on sale, I finally bit the bullet & upgraded to Ultra Street Fighter IV on Steam. It's still the game that made me a King of Fighters fan but at least I'm fairly good at using Poison.

I didn't need them, but I bit anyway.

Walmart.com has a crazy deal (and it keeps going in-and-out of stock) - seven different Giants (all the non-variants that don't come in the starter pack) for Skylanders for $20, new-in-box.

Crazy deal.

Ooh, nice!  Hope the Canadian store gets something similar.  We are missing most of the Giants, and normal retail pricing is way above what I'd pay... but $20 for the set is an easy buy.

I would say I converted Freedom Wars (PSV) to digital and bought Flower if PSN wasn't getting it in the shorts again.
