Episode 91: Unsettled Creepiness
« on: April 17, 2011, 09:40:15 PM »

Australia Correspondent Andrew Brown represents the southern hemisphere in this knife-less episode of Radio Trivia.

http://www.nintendoworldreport.com/radiotrivia/26089

Did you like the second, third, and fourth games? Let your fellow listeners know in TalkBack! Think you've got a better choice? Then send it my way and your request might be on the next episode of Radio Trivia: Podcast Edition!  Heck, throw in a question and specific songs if you want. Just remember, it has to be a game found on a Nintendo system in North America (unless we say otherwise)!

NOTE: The wrong audio was initially uploaded for this episode. If you're a subscriber, delete the file you have for Episode 91 and re-download it for the correct version. Sorry for the confusion!

Yes, the same thing happened to me.

Bleh. Sorry guys. It should be fixed now, though you'll have to delete the old, redundant file manually (or I perhaps mark it as read).

EDIT: BTW, I was incorrect and Andrew was right about Game 1. I didn't know "Final Fantasy" was in the Japanese subtitle for the first Seiken Densetsu.

I never knew that Journey to Silius had such catchy music.   Sunsoft's efforts always ranked as my favorite game music during the NES days e.g.  Blaster Master, Batman, Gremlins 2, Fester's Quest, and others.   I never noticed it before, but their games do tend to have a distinct choice of use of sound instrumentation types.

As for game 3, I had always wanted to rent it, but I never did.  Because I was such a Hobbit-head when I was younger, my parents did give me the PC version for my birthday one year; it looked as if it might have some similarities, but they probably were very different games.  I do know that the PC version threw a lot of stuff in the game that wasn't in the books, so I suspect that the SNES game was similar.

As is probably the case with many people, I think I would always recognize A Link To The Past no matter what musical selection you played.  Such great memories with that game;  I'm sure that it remains my most-played Zelda entry.

Edit: Oops, I got game one of Episode 90 mixed up in my head with this episode somehow.  It's probably because I listened to them almost back-to-back.

Thanks for the great show, gentlemen!  Welcome, Andrew!  It's always great to hear a new voice.

Holy crap. I've never gone 0 and 5 before, but I guess there's a first time for everything!

Thanks Sundoulos! If it wasn't glaringly obvious I was extremely nervous, but I plan to get in on the action a lot more often.

I've never even heard of Journey to Silius before, but I guessed the answer to the hint question before it was even asked.  ;D  The first song sounds a lot like the music from Terminator 2.

My good man, you went oh for five a mere two episodes ago ...

Wow, 0 for 5 this week. I suck!
