However, this year he told us stuff that we can say here but not on the page...

3DS...

Has no input devices. The games play themselves, it's the ultimate move towards accessibility!

It turns out that while the screen IS 3D, the screen itself is internal so all you see outside of the system is the plastic that covers it. The game plays a chime to let you know when you win.

1 - 3 hours on a full charge, which is to say it's good for 1 - 3 hours.

You see, Amish and 15th Century time travelers (a key demographic in Nintendo's 3DS plans) find rechargers intimidating. As such, the 3DS will not have one. It will come pre-charged from the factory. At expiration you may send it to Nintendo and they will (for a nominal fee of $20, to be paid in pre-purchased 3DS Points) send you a fully charged one.

Nintendo E3 Predictions:

1) 3DS will not be a third pillar or anything, just a new member of the existing DS "family." It will be out in the spring of 2011. It will be fully backwards-compatible with existing DS/i software. It will have a whole new shop channel with lots of fancy apps. The DSi will get a firmware update that will make it compatible with this new shop channel. Expect a Star Fox or Wario Land launch title.

2) The Vitality Sensor will be complete bullshit.

3) Metroid and Zelda will dominate the software lineup and the show floor. Oh, and Wii Party (GUH!).
