Safe Words 15 - Fast Food Frenzy. Sign-ups are closed.

Every time I come on the forums, my inbox is filled with people asking when are we going to do another Safe Words. Or so I thought would happen when I created this game.  :'(

Now, I get that the last time we played it seemed to make a perfect ending point with certain "storylines" and where things ended for some players. But like today's current entertainment line-up of reboots, remakes and revivals, the Khushrenada Corporation also believes the demand for more Safe Words games has been unsatiated and bringing it back will see more profits from the pre-existing fanbase created by its earlier successes. Best of all, Safe Words is trying to line up a corporate sponsor to help cover the cost and risk of bringing it back in the form of a fast food giant.

But which company should Safe Words enter a partnership with? There's only one way to solve this situation and that is to have a group of people constantly eating the fast food offerings of these places until one place gives them a heart attack. Then we'd remove that company from the list and keep going until there is only company left that has killed off those who have been eating from it constantly for so long. Seems like the best way to ensure no negative press will befall the Safe Words since obviously no one will be dying from that winning fast food company when they partner with them.

Now where can we find some volunteers willing to eat a lot of fast food? Well, I can not think of any place filled with more desperate and deranged people willing to take that risk than the NWR Forums and specifically those frequenting the NWR Funhouse. (You should have seen what those people were willing to eat at Mop it up's Restaurant.) So, if this task interests you then please sign-up below.

Sign-ups will run until the end of Jan 18 and the game will begin on Jan. 19 unless there are 14 people who sign up before that in which case sign-ups would end after the 14 person joins.

Perhaps you are one of the users on this forum who haven't played a Safe Words game or don't know how it works. Perhaps you are too shy to ask your physician for help to understand the game. Well, today is your lucky day as I now take a moment to explain this game in a simple post.


HOW TO PLAY


OVERLY SIMPLE VERSION: It is like Russian Roulette. After sign-ups are closed, the players are randomly assorted into a selection rotation. But what are they selecting? There is a list of words or phrases. One of those words is like the bullet in a gun used for Russian Roulette. If you select that phrase when it is your turn to choose from the list of phrases, then you lose. The bullet word is removed from the list and a new word is selected from the list to act as the bullet for the next round. Players then select phrases again until someone is eliminated. This process is repeated until only one person remains and is declared the winner. Think you have what it takes to choose the safe words and avoid the unsafe words? Then sign-up and find out.
