DrewMG, the blogger
« on: August 25, 2009, 06:38:16 PM »
Just wanted to make a thread on here to pimp myself out a bit - I've been brought on as a blogger on The Goozex Report, which is a blog run by the community of goozex.com, a game trading website.

Anyways, here's my first post there, about a few cheap ($5) games available on the site, specifically Metroid Prime and Gun, both for Gamecube.

Read it if you like, and if you don't like, then don't!

Cool, so what's the purpose of this? Goozex trades stuff and you point out the cool things people offer to trade? I've seen the Goozex dinosaur logo but never really paid attention.

ShyGuy, that's part of it.  Goozex is a trading marketplace (which I am a big fan of) and The Goozex Report is just a blog started up by one of their prominent forum members, I think.  Goozex does a lot of work to help promote the blog, though.  Whoever runs the twitter account for Goozex tweets about TGR pretty often, and they talk about it in the Goozex Forums too.

But the blog isn't just about Goozex though.  It's just about gaming in general, with the twist that we're all Goozex members so we tend to say things that may be of interest to other Goozex members.  My next few articles won't have anything to do with game trading, I'm pretty sure.  I'm currently playing through Silent Hill 2 for a "look back with fresh eyes" as I've never played the game before.  Also, I'm going to do a writeup of gaming podcasts that I follow, and a speculative post on the next generation of hardware from the major players.

Absolutely, it's the gaming podcast I've listened to for the longest.  I'll probably even mention Radio Trivia, since it's unique among video game podcasts.
