Sooooo tempted on Kid Icarus

But between my new 3D HDTV, Wii U + 3 games, new car payments and loss of OT @ work, I think I'm stretched a little thin right now. Hard to justify another game purchase that I might not get around to anytime soon.

Zelda OoT

Kid Icarus

Star Fox 64

$20 each, free shipping or in-store pick-up.
FYI, for some reason, the games aren't qualifying for free shipping, but I opened up a support web chat and the rep was able to remove the shipping charge.

Target has Scrubblenauts Unlimited for $10 off ($39.99). Madden and Batman are both $10 off ($49.99).

Also, select 3DS games are buy 1 get 1 50% off. NSMB2, Ocarina of Time, Kid Icarus, Art Academy, and Mario Tennis are included. I don't remember the others. I wanted to get Mario Tennis, but I didn't have a 2nd game.

Sale ends 12/01/2012.

I almost bought some 3DS games and I don't even have the system yet, it just seemed like a good deal, but I've spent too much on myself already.

$130 3DS/$160 3DS XL after $40 instant savings from Bestbuy starting next week 12/9.  If you're lucky and your store still have the mario land or kart bundles then it applies to them as well.

My local store was all out of Marioland/3ds bundle but they do have the blue 3dsXL/Kart bundles.

Finally something that beats the $150 deal I got last year from Target.  I ended up returning the 3DS, but with Ace Attorney nearing, it may just be time to pick it up.

Quick question... I had a hard enough time keeping 3D in lock with the original 3DS when it was on display in stores.  It seems that it's even harder to do with the larger version when I saw it in stores.  Without them side by side, it's hard to say.  Anyone else notice it being harder to focus 3D on the larger screens?

I find it harder to keep track of the 3D. Plus, it doesn't seem as deep. I don't like it.

Wasn't aware this one ever got a US release.  $8.26/Free in-store pickup.

Finished this one.  3DS says my play time was a little over 8 hours.  Fun little game - not very deep.  Think Mario 1.

Awesome, thanks for the data point.  Your second point of deepness is interesting.  I recall being fairly impressed with the amount of 3D seen in street fighter when seeing it on store shelves on a 3DS.  The slider made a noticeable impact.  On the demo of NSMB2 today in the store, I didn't get that same level of depth at all and the slider didn't seem to have much impact.

For WII U owners--you might want to check your local Target next Sunday (12/16-23rd) for their buy 2 get 1 free deals.  Some games were discounted by $10 (depending on your store but mine had every WII U title at $40-50).

Also Target has $10 GC with $50 purchase going on now so I ended up with two tranactions:
Purchased an $50 GC and got another $10 free (used their Target Red card so I didn't pay taxes).

Do the math:
1-game $50
2-game $50
3-3rd game Free (buy 2get 1 free)
4--Apply $20 worth of free GC's
5--apply taxes + red card discount (3%) --8% NY tax minus 5% RC discount

Equals roughly $27.50 for New WII U games enjoy your holidays :0.

Big Lots near me has had a bunch of Goldeneye + golden Classic Controller Pro bundles for $30 for the past few months; it's worth checking for stock if you're interested. They occasionally have other good game deals as well.
