Title: Classic Internet
Post by: ThePerm on October 29, 2007, 09:11:22 AM
Remember the way the internet used to be?

Every page had a background wallpaper
ever page had a banner logo
every page has a splash
no one had cable internet
loading pages took forever
every page had a corner icon
some pages had midi bg music

so old school

case in point, use ie to load this page, forefox is too good to load it right.

The link to PlanetN2000 is far more interesting. Just amazing what is said on that page about the 'Dolphin' and what we got from the Gamecube. Microsoft wasn't even on the radar at that time.

remember when 66 stage had everything and you could watch anything you wanted and Netflix streaming was in its infancy? All it had was Troma movies.
