I know people have been speculating that Resident Evil 6 could come to Wii U

I have it on good authority (not from the horses mouth, but from his jockey) that RE6 IS coming to Wii U.

I will see if I can find out more tomorrow.

1. Nintendo is working on a speech recognition program that could be put into the Wii U and has already been testing it in Japan Schools using Cloud Storage and the DS

Most games on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 don't reach the sales of the Just Dance games, so what? Ubisoft got a massive hit on their end with the franchise.

Motion controls work well when the developer puts effort into it, though a lot never did. What about Mii's? Sony and Microsoft like them enough to copy them.

Yes, MS and Sony don't have a lot of big games.  In fact, Nintendo had the biggest games early on and crushed MS and Sony this generation.  What's odd though is that Sony and MS gamers still get AAA titles and some of them turn into big games or big franchises.

I can only think of 2 games that motion controls helped: Wii Sports and No More Heroes.  God Father was also good but it's a port so I don't think that counts.  I don't blame Nintendo for the bad games they didn't make.  But a lot of Nintendo's games would have been better off using traditional controls.

...and here I was thinking that I was the only one who thought Godfather: Blackhand Edition had excellent motion controls.

A source close to Dual Pixels has revealed a massive Ubisoft E3 2012 leak confirming Lady Gaga: The Experience as currently in development and set for release later this year across multiple platforms. Previous entries in the Experience franchise include Michael Jackson and Black Eyed Peas. The same source also revealed a pending Assassin's Creed and Splinter Cell (Next-Gen).

Activision To Take Nintendo Seriously This Time Around!?

When learning about Activision’s support for Nintendo we were told by an industry source to just wait and see because Activision will be playing an important role on ALL Nintendo consoles this year and the next.

So, does that mean the launch window, as well? Yes. You should anticipate Activision backing Nintendo during the launch of the Wii U as well as over the next few years. They are currently working on multiple titles for Nintendo systems. And not just a couple unrefined ports as they did with the Wii launch. Remember EA’s people up on stage at last E3′s Wii U introduction? Well Activision won’t let EA have Nintendo all to themselves. It might not be as pronounced as with EA but it will still be a key role for Nintendo.

Activision is going to be a major supporter of Nintendo this gen and plans on not only backing the Wii U at launch and beyond, but also putting major weight behind the 3DS too.

Ubisoft caught a free ride this gen and Acivision sees EA hitching it's wagon to Nintendo for next gen and does not want to be sitting on the side of the road while EA and Nintendo have all the fun.

Apparently Junction Point is "implementing Wii U support for Epic Mickey 2." Not sure if that means WiiU SKU or Wii version supports tablet.

Launch fervor is an expected thing, especially now that the U-tab has nearly comparable controls to the competition. What I'm anxious about is third-party wares 2-4 years in the system's life, and that is something that nobody can know or predict at this point.

Still, it's nice to hear such talk even if it might prove cheap.

Its not enough that Activision supports Nintendo with casual shovelware. If that's what their "support" is going to be this time around, then I don't want it. A lot of 3rd parties "supported" the Wii after all; it just wasn't the kind of support that meant anything to core gamers. Until I see otherwise I will remain skeptical.

Out of the Big 3 from Blizzard, Diablo would be the best for a console.  That would be awesome.

Activision actually was one of the few third parties who did support the Wii pretty well.  Guitar Hero and Call of Duty were their big franchises this gen and both appeared on the Wii.  There were concessions to be made regarding the hardware but no third party could avoid that.  We got the best Activision support I realistically could expect.

One thing that may help third party support is that because of the hardware difference third parties could not just port their existing multiplatform games easily.  Why would EA go to the trouble to make an on-rails shooter Dead Space if they could just port the main game?  Why would Namco make some shitty Soul Calibur spin-off if they could just port Soul Calibur IV?  They wanted to release some product but couldn't just include the Wii in multiplatform development so they gave us some spin-off made by their B team.  And those games sucked and we justifiably didn't buy them and the third parties just stopped bothering.  Unless Nintendo stupidly falls way behind in hardware again or their third party policies are so terrible that no one wants anything to do with them, we'll at least get the multiplatform games the other systems get in situations where this gen we instead got some crappy spin-off.

Activision is going to port every Call of Duty game to every platform available.  I'm sure they would prefer it if they just give us the same version Sony and MS are getting.
