I am still waiting on AVGN Adventures and Pier Solar HD once I get those two my Wii U will probably be set for a while as far as eshop goes. I want to buy DuckTales Remastered and UnEpic but I already have those on Steam/PSN right now so it was more of a support the developer than buy the games to play but considering all the hassle I gave up. I just hope that when they do release Pier Solar HD and AVGN Adventures they are not such a chore to find.

Is Pier Solar still coming? I feel like that one was announced a long time ago...

I'm curious about Steamworld Dig. As someone who has played and beaten the 3DS version a few times. What would be the incentive for getting the Wii U one besides the visual update?

I'm so behind on my eshop purchases. I need to finish Armillo. Which is very good by the way! Super Mario Galaxy meets a 3D Pac Man platformer.

As I understand it, there is off-TV play, inventory and map management on the gamepad, and multiple control options. Also I think there is an extra easter egg area but I am not sure of the details.

I plan to get it on the Wii U when I get around to buying some eShop titles. I kind of wish it had cross system support like on the Sony platform because I could see it being a game like Monster Hunter where I could play it on both and transfer my saves between systems (or have it stored on the cloud).

I just read a story either on IGN or Gamestop that said it just released on Playstation devices and will be out on Wii U, etc, by the end of this month so I am still hoping it gets released.

Picked up Guacamelee last night as it is still currently on sale for a pleasing discount. I expect to play it sometime, too! Maybe.

I'm really curious about Lone Surivor, which was just released on the eShop. It's published by Curve Digital, who are also know for the Fluidity games and the upcoming Stealth Inc. 2. Has anyone played it on PC?

Yeah, it's pretty awesome, I'm thinking about getting the Director's Cut on WiiU before Halloween. The first half of the game particularly is one of the best video game horror scenarios I've ever played. Such a strong, horrible atmosphere to the whole thing. Watch the trailer on the eShop for a completely weird take on the material that also doesn't match what the game is like.

Speaking of Halloween, when is Costume Quest 2 releasing on the e-Shop? Shouldn't that be out already?

I have given up on AVGN even if that game ever does release I am not buying it now. I already have it on Steam anyways.

As for Pier Solar HD, I am going to give it till the current month as that was the most recent date given, if it doesn't show up by then I will just get it on PSN and reserve eshop exclusively for Virtual Console as I am finding that is about all its good for anyways.

It's pretty impressive to get a day with that many games and none of them really interest me.

I've been playing Stealth Inc. 2, and I'm falling in love. I was going for S ranks at the beginning, but a lot of the levels after the first batch are long and involved.

I'd be interested in Stealth Inc. if I didn't have the first one sitting unplayed on my Vita.

I lost all hype for the eshop when AVGN never materialized and Pier Solar HD was on PSN I just downloaded it because I got tired of waiting and then in the process I removed a dozen games from my Wish List on Wii U and decided to just get them all on PS3. I was trying to muster some hype to justify continued support of the machine but that hype is gone now I am going back to waiting for Captain Toad and Smash Bros. and thats it from now on if its on PS3 I will just get it on PS3 no sense in waiting for insane amounts of time just to "support" Nintendo.

Runbow. This indie platformer scoffs at your puny 8 player multiplayer mode.

Hollow Knight has been Kickstarted, and the Wii U stretch goal means the game will be console-exclusive to the eShop.

There's a bunch of titles on the eShop but most of them are garbage. I'm honestly surprised by the lack of Nintendo support outside of Virtual Console- it's a great way to invigorate a console on life support- it worked for the 3DS for a while. I mean, Dillon's Rolling Western is a crappy title but at least it's an exclusive. The Wii U has... Pushmo World, which is an HD version of a pre-existing IP. Even the eShop exclusives- outside of Stealth Inc 2- aren't great.
