So now that Recovery has been out a week, how would you guys rate it?  I'd give it 4/5.  Considering how meh Relapse was, I'm very impressed he pulled himself back together so quickly.  My only complaint is I think he's too sober now.  His rhymes are missing those weird tangents the green stuff used to inspire him to do.  Either way though, I'm loving it.  My favorite tracks are No Love, Not Afraid, Almost Famous and the intro/outro tracks.  Hopefully, this album is just a one time thing, in terms of being optimistic and talking about sobriety and his next album is even better.  If so, he'll be one of the few legends to hit rock bottom and actually climb back to the top.  In terms of its place in his catalog, I'd rate them like this:

Marshall Mathers LP
Slim Shady LP
8 Mile Sountrack
Infinite
Eminem Show
Recovery
Encore
Relapse

Thoughts?  And any idea what the next single will be?  I think No Love is a sure hit, it'd obviously make a great video w/ weezy n em bobbing their head night of the roxbury style and that verse em spits is just sick.

Oh, and isn't it sad that Eminem is the only one in the mainstream media to call out Rothlisburger for what he really is? (See the first line to Almost Famous).

I can't wait to have only an antenna issue.  Right now I have a touch screen issue, as in sometimes it works, most times it doesn't.  Thats what I get for carrying it around naked.

Speaking of naked, did you guys get a case for the new iphone?  I heard it was a bit more fragile, and Gizmodo said you should get a case this time around.  I'd hate to put a case on it, love the redesign.  If you did put a case on it, can you link to it?

How I yearn for one of my list leaders to call.  My current half broke 2G iphone makes me drop at least 14 F bombs a day.  14 legitimate, angry, somebody stop me from smashing this phone F bombs.  I've hit rock bottom.

My prediction is I won't have one till next Weds at the earliest.  Life really sucks.

My bad.  No demo yet, but its inevitable.  I'm sure a lot of people do not yet know about it and I'm sure they'll toss one out soon.  Perhaps tomorrow!

Its a great game to play when you're slightly inebriated.  The controls are very forgiving when it comes to tricks, but not too forgiving.  The perfect balance.  I'd say its my FAVORITE PSN GAME EVA!!!

Guys seriously.  At least try the demo, this game is so addicting.  You've got flat out races, explorations, time trials, level creations, etc.....

Its an obvious love letter to Excitbike and these dudes really nailed it.  It has that "Nintendo magic".  Trust me, you'll love it!

So I'm on TWO lists now.  One at Best Buy and one at Apple.  I figured this would be faster than ordering online.  I'll be waiting by the phone the next week as I'm still rollin the 2G, can't wait for dis thang!  I use my current iphone for everything, calls, internet, little bit of games, guitar tuner, and most importantly, voice memos for song ideas.  Oh yeah, I use it for photos too, you know what I mean.  I think I'll have everything I want now, video chat is the only thing I really need, and now I will finely get that elusive satisfaction mankind has always searched for.  Can't wait!

Damn.  This does suck.  I had an issue with my credit card and I can't "pre-order" until tomorrow.  Now my iphone doesn't ship till July 14th.  Not the end of the world, but I was looking forward to June 24th.

I agree with the five on five proposal. That'd be perfect for a good game and you'd have a total of ten Ninty characters running around. It'd be pure fun!!

Terrible name, but it does look fun.  Why does Nintendo hate American football so much?  Its only the most successful sport in the history of civilization.  Oh well.

I bought Crazy Taxi this year on GCN.  For me, it didn't hold up much,  but trophies would help.  I'd like to see Nights come along so I finally can see what all the insane fuss is about.

I really enjoyed the demo, but not as much as Pure.  BUT....it could be the track.  Perhaps the other tracks would suck me in more.  I'll definately  get it once the price drops.  I bought Pure at full price and it quickly dropped a couple weeks later.

Man.  I gotta say.  Playing this game, is the most pure FUN I've had in a long time!  The controls are perfect, the graphics are gorgeous, and there's even multiplayer.  Basically, its an ode to Excitebike with a twist, that being a sprinkle of Evil Canevil on top, as well as some platforming, yes, platforming.  This thing really feels like a Nintendo product and it was made by just 4 guys, and it was their first game nonetheless.  Is anyone else having as much fun with it as I am?

The only negative is its $15, but IMO, its WELL worth it!

Here's a link to the IGN video review on it:

Who gives a ****. I don't even care enough to make fun of it anymore.

Uhhhhh....Considering you started the thread, YOU do.

ANYWAYS.......I can't wait.  I've been limping along with a busted a$$ 2g model the last two years.  This will definitely be an upgrade for me.

Ok. This is really embarassing but I need some help with a Facebook question. There a girl at work I'm intersted in that I looked up on facebook. I have not friended her yet. Howver. Her wall is open to the public. Because I find her status updates so intersting I started checking it quite a bit along with the pics on said wall. So my question is, is there any way shed be able to tell I was looking?  I know Facebook does not allow apps that would but is there a common work around for this a computer savy girl would know about or am I just being paranoid?  She removed the wall from the public yesterday and I'm fearing the worst.  If so she's gonna think I'm like the dude from American Beauty.

Definitely going to check out the new newscast.  I have to take all sorts of painkillers for my pathetic back and neck, and for some odd reason, once they kick in, all I wanna do is listen to RFN and play Mario or Sonic Kart.  Thanks for the heads up!

I used to be a huge Ultimate Warrior fan.  Once he stepped down, I just couldn't get back into it.  Is there much cross over these days with fans of WWE and UFC, or is it kind of one of the other for most fans?  How do wresting fans feel about Brock Lesnar's accomplishments in the UFC?

And the Jazz somehow managed to close out this game to advance to the next round, where they will be slaughtered by the Lakers as Boozer (as he always does against the Lakers) mysteriously vanishes from both ends of the court.

Of course, the Thuggets couldn't let this game (which was already full of technical fouls by them) end without upholding their nickname, so in the closing seconds Thuggets Center Anderson cheap-shotted D-Will and injured his arm with a hard screen.  You know what?  **** you, Denver.

I'm as Bulls fan, but damn, livin out in Denver, I've come to kind of appreciate the Thuggets.  Anderson is da man, a relic of an older generation come back to life, and the team made a hell of a run last year.  The loss of their coach this year was just too much though.  It was clear the team was disorganized the past couple months, I didn't expect them to beat Utah.  Hopefully they can pull it together next year.

Anyone here think Lebron won't win again this year, even though he's clearly the best athlete ever at any sport ever in human history?

Yeah, that was a huge blow with the Westbrook injury.  He was fun to watch.  And of course, a huge weapon, that enabled the other WR weapons to get open a bit easier.
