How exactly short is "a bit short"?  Does the game offer much replay value?

If you could only recommend one, which one would you recommend--DK King of Swing or Mario & Donkey Kong?

I'd recommend the SGB Donkey Kong over Mario vs. Donkey Kong.

I didn't like this game. It got really repetitive and frustration at times, the controls are obnoxious. The premise is interesting but it's carried out so badly.

I'd say the same thing about MvDK, Artimus.  DK King of Swing all the way.  "A bit short" means the main game is short, but not so short as to feel like a total rip-off.  In my mind, lastability is comprised of the game's length and its replayability (for collectables, fun, etc.).
