Super Mario Kart Mafia: Day 8. Rainbow Road.
« on: June 30, 2009, 01:35:26 AM »
Well, if the game didn't end last night, it will end today. So, it's only appropriate we gather here on Rainbow Road for the championship race. May the best racer win.
Whoever said, "Cheaters never win" must've never met Khushrenada.

At three votes, RABicle is dead. He was Red. He had a mystery box when he died.
Mop_it_up was hit with a banana, taking the last point. He/She was blue. He/She had an identifer.
This could be the big finale!

Red Team is nearly completely dead. Four players are near death. Five players remaining.

I'm thinking in my mind which is the best path how to deal with the win conditions: I think the team with the highest amount of players (and if tied, points) should win.

PLAYERS LIST:
Vudu
DrewMG
GP
Khush
Stevey

ITEM USES:
The identifier was used.
A banana was used defensively.
A banana was used offensively.
A red shell was used defensively.

I feel like I've not played this game nearly close enough to be one of the five finalists, so I'd better start paying more attention.  Stupid weddings in towns with no internet.  An iPhone alone does not make a good platform for playing Mafia.

So I'm going to go with stevey here and unvote vudu.

So true. I tried using an iPhone on Wednesday with poor results.

Well, I must admit to being a bit lax. Awhile ago, I wanted vengance. I voted out Thatguy for his role in Maxi's death. I voted out DAaaMan64 for his use of cloud on Dasmos. But there's one person who has not been brought to justice yet for his crimes against the blue team. A man who not only attacked us with a blue shell but also attacked me with a banana. The blue shell I can take. The banana is going too far. Yes, for this man, I have saved a special kind of justice. I have him brought far into the game. To the point of victory even. But now, as he stands at the threshold of triumph, I am here to snatch it away from him. For him, I have saved the cruelest vengence.

Vote Stevey. Green Team Revenge complete.

P.S. Not only did Stevey attack me twice but Vudu and DrewMG both trusted with their identity long ago so I will keep that trust rewarded.

Besides, who am I going to listen to?  Funky-mother-fucking-Kong or some chump who won't even change his avatar?  This isn't Ico Kart.

Yet another game where Khush manipulates his way into winning.  Haven't we already seen this episode?

And yeah, I realized a few days ago while I was out of town that I forgot to change my avatar, but that's also because I forgot to pick a character.  I've already stated several times that I really hadn't committed to this game until the last few days.

But, just for you vudu, I will now change my avatar.  Let's not let Khush manipulate the game again.  It's really beginning to become a tired pattern.

Boo-hoo. Let's not forget I've been down to 1 freaking point since the end of Day 2 in this game. If you don't like it, you could have done something to kick me out of this game a long time ago. You have no one to blame but yourself. Revenge!!!!

Let's not forget. Stevey could have won this game yesterday for the Blue team had he used his banana on Vudu. Vudu couldn't protect himself. But stevey played the way I thought he would. For himself. Thus he used it to protect himself. Had he hit Vudu last night, we wouldn't even be having this conversation.

I've been playing hard to get to this moment and let me say, it is worth it.

With everyone but GP near death it would have been a 2 on two 2 tie with green having the point advantage. Thus letting you win. I knew a backstabbing was coming and needed vudu's vote or a way to block an attack by GP that night.

The rules are that for red or blue to win, they must eliminate the other team and the green team must be down to half their players. You could have won last night by eliminating the red team since we have been down to half our team since what, day 4?

There's only way for Green to win and I figured it out a long time ago. Red and Blue must be eliminated out of the game on the same day with only a green player remaining. It would have been nice if Vudu had listened to me and hit DrewMG with his item last night making it 1 and 1 for blue and red and thereby guarenteeing that we win. As it is, there is still a bit of chance involved but compared to where this team after the first 3 days, I'll take this situation.

Oh! Oh! I just thought of another one.

So since you didn't play the game well and I did, I shouldn't be allowed to win? By your own admission, you don't even feel you should be one of the 5 finalists. Zing!

Certainly I did say that, but what happened, happened.  We're both here now, regardless of how we got here.  A chicken could stand on the right D-Pad and cluck the A button randomly for 45 minutes, but as long as he's on World 8-4, he has just as good of a chance of winning as anyone else.

So now it's time to play the final leg of this game.  What's happened before today is irrelevant if it means you still have to win by popular demand.  It's nonsense is what it is.
