Mario rallied his team behind him. "It is time we go on the offensive."
"Luigi, take the Yoshi's and circle round left.
Peach, take the toads and go around right.
I have a feeling the flags are hidden in that ghost house. I will go up the middle on a stealth mission to the flag."
From the Ghost House Bowser could see the team splitting into groups and charging, but he couldn't find Mario.
"I will take my Submarine and go straight down the middle, Mario will never expect that. Yo, Para Koopa you are with me. The rest guard the Ghost house."
The Yoshi's and Peach battled the Koopa Troops to a standstill nobody could gain any ground. The ghost house was easily defended, and the Yoshi's were too terrified to enter anyway.

Under the Lake, Bowser's Sub inched closer to Mario's fort.
"There he is!!!" Chuckled Bowser, "Fire the torpedoes."
Mario Seeking Missiles darted towards the portly plumber. He quickly grabbed his trusty green shell he had in his item reserve, and surged through the water. Darting in and out of the torpedoes, Mario ensured each was following him. Only a lone missiles, whose guidance chip must have malfunctioned, got through.
Mario effortlessly returned to torpedoes to Bowser's Sub. BOOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Direct hit, and the Sub was stalled.
"Resurface, Resurface FOOLS!!!" Bowser barked out orders. "I am going for my gun."

The Rogue Torpedo ran up on the sandy banks of the lake. A hatched opened the and the Para-troopa popped out. The plan worked perfectly. He quickly ran and grabbed one of Mario's flags and raced back to the base.

Mario and Bowser were squared off atop the resurfaced Submarine. Both had taken what little cover was available and exchanging shots.
Click, Click....Mario looked down. He had run out of paint. Mario looked up to see Bowser pointing his paint gun point blank at Mario, "and now Mario, I will get my revenge."
Splat, Splat, SPLAT.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!" Bowser roared. He turned to see Luigi on the banks with a huge sniper gun, and a goofy Italian grin on his face. "I hate you plumbers."
Wario popped in for a paint check on Mario. "Waaaah, Look here!!" Wario patted Mario's back, smearing paint on it. "You have been shot too Mario, you are out of the game."
Nobody saw Wario's actions, so it was believed to be legit. Mario gracefully stepped down.

"And now its time for my daily counting of my money," Wario gathered the teams and summoning another warp pipe they teleported to his Castle. That looked strangely like another plumbers castle...
