Mature Mafia - Day 5: The Lost Level...
« on: June 06, 2008, 11:34:08 PM »
So, I gifted Bustin his... errr... Gift.

After sending it, I thought I should have sent him the Dr. Mario demo and claimed that was his prize, but that would have just been mean.

Anywhoo, at the start of the game, I declared that everyone would die.  Bustin disobeyed this, and so my revenge on him was to gift him a game where he will die many, many times.

And thus, I win after all.
Just some random guy on the internet who has a different opinion of games than you.

Super Mario The Lost Levels.

Haven't tried it yet. But seeing how New Super Mario on the DS kicks my ass, I'm sure I won't get past the first level.

Oh, with the original Contra on the NES I got to the point of breezing through the entire game without losing a life. I had no life when I was 14.

I managed to get to world 2-3 of the Lost Levels.  I gave up after that.  I'd sooner face the birds of level 6-2 in Ninja Gaiden than go back to Lost Levels.
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

I actually beat the game once, but that was the SNES version contained on the Super Mario All Stars cart, I think it was easier somehow.

All-Stars didn't make you start again at the firt level of the world if you continued, you just returned to the start of the level.

The Furthest I have reached is world 7. It's a chore to be sure.

I'm up to World 6 in my VC The Lost Levels game, but I haven't played in a while so I may start over. The only reason I don't is I don't want to lose that progress.
