So....?

Considering the four lead actors involved, what a waste of effort.

Several huge plot points skipped over 1: sequence of events that results in them getting their powers was because they were all drunk but in the next scenes right after all perfectly sober. 2 Doom was left on the planet for a year alone and apparently the planet sustained him, but doesn't he have to eat? 3 how does being pelted with rocks turn Ben into the thing? 4 why does the "gate bridge" only go to that planet?

I could probably keep going. Also, for whoever goes to see it, pay attention to Sue's hair. There's several points in the movie where she jumps from wig to no-wig and back repeatedly.

So, it had an $11.3 million opening yesterday. Pretty bad.

Oh man, that last review got me.

"Fantastic Four is so mediocre that its title seems like a violation of truth in advertising laws."

LOL

Bad movies really bring out the creativity in critics.  I always enjoy reading bad reviews over good/mediocre ones.

It looks like Diggle was right in resisting getting a costume. First look has been released. And it's horrendous.

http://oyster.ignimgs.com/wordpress/stg.ign.com/2015/09/Diggle.jpg

They're usually pretty good with costumes so this is quite disappointing. Maybe it'll look better in action but I'm not holding my breath.

Edit: And now there's a trailer.  The bad news:  Diggle's costume still looks terrible.  The good news:  Looks like the happy and quirky Felicity we all know and love is back!

I like that Diggle has be dubbed Magnegro by the interwebs.

his costume is terrible and Arrow better make up for it with a S3 redeeming, way more awesome than the best of S2, season 4.

more Flash crossovers would probably help. and that new show too.

wouldn't an Early rebel alliance be ugly? Things don't really start till the pick up their new uniforms. Its like the Mighty Ducks. Ah **** you're talking about Flash stuff. Nevermind.

Nope, he was talking about Arrow stuff.  Nothing on the Flash looks ugly...yet. (OK, except for Killer Frost's costume.)  That looks pretty bad.

First episode of Gotham crossed a line. This season is going to have to walk a fine line or else it will enter 2edgy4me territory.

Gordon collects protection money on behalf of the Penguin and ends up killing the guy.

But it was self defense

The 1st episode, and that Maniax trailer lets me know this season is going places, so I've already reserved my seats for the ride.

Wait they made Gordon a dirty cop?

No, Nope, absolutely not...I didn't watch this show but it is dead to me.  Gordon should never be a dirty cop or tempted in anyway.  To me Gordon HAS to be the cop that can never be bought, never compromise even if it means losing the things he loves.  He has to be a rock on the side of the law.  That is what makes his character interesting in Batman...he is on the same side as Batman but works completely within the law.  Also, it means you can let the rest of Gotham Police Department be corrupt and still have one good cop.

This show should have done a time jump of 3-4 years after the first season.  It would have been a better choice for story...but not better for actors.

Is it really robbery if you are collecting on a debt that is owed? The eventual victim acknowledged he owned the money, he just refused to pay it. So it was taken by force, but only after a gun was drawn, and then turned back on it's owner.
eventually the owner of the gun got to keep it's bullets (lodged in his chest), but they were only fired in self-defense.

This assualt also took place after the initial incident of money exchanging hands, so it was no longer in the act of "robbery" but the act of getting away ;)

Make a show about a monkey that steals things and causes relationships to burn because of it. No one ever sees it. Call it Monkey God or Devil Monkey. Sell T-shirts.

Made that up as I typed it.

At least it's not another "re-imaging" or "reboot". I'm more interested in it because it has the same actors and appears to carry on the story. Suppose I should start re-watching the old seasons first though. Been a while since I watched any of them.
