Another year passing by, as we can all tell by the aging NWR crew becoming increasingly bitter and sarcastic.
(Just kidding. James sounds the same as ever, unchanged by age.)
Time to count our blessings, as gamers and casual forum acquaintances.
First thing I'm thankful for: NWR continuing to provide a great Nintendo-based site, through thick or thin. During the GameCube and Wii U years, you were here for us. Now that Nintendo is hot news again with Switch, here's looking for a fantastic 2018.
Second thing: Lots of Turkey and NBA action on Christmas. This has nothing to do with the site, or with gaming... but I'm still thankful.
Third thing: Another year of RFN podcast. Helping me shovel snow and not get bored while doing dishes for... what are we know? Is it more than a decade? However long it's been, I still look forward to each new episode.
Fourth thing: Lots of games. More than I can shake a stick at. I've almost stopped buying due to backlog, but they are still getting released at record rates. Craziness!
