Wow. All of you guys had Joy-Con issues. To me, just the idea that it happens makes me leery of ever using the Joy-Cons. I was able to get a deal on two Pro Controllers. I'll just use my Pros unless a game absolutely necessitates use of a Joy-Con.

Street Fighter II for SNES was a two player game. It was kind of important.

I hope they put a decent amount of these up for sale. Is it meant to be a one day deal?

The NX talk was great, it got me thinking about stuff. This would never happen, but if the NX was basically an Xbox One S hardware clone with an updated Wii U Pro Controller with the Gamepad's motion sensors, would that be enough to satisfy most people and get major third party support?

It would satisfy me. I don't play mobile or handheld games. But most of Nintendo's market is in mobile and handheld games. Switching to mobile graphics makes sense for Nintendo. It's more flexible and portable. NX basically being a tablet that you can attach things to or insert into something is interesting. Mobile graphics would allow Nintendo do more creative stuff like that in the future. I imagine mobile graphics and PC graphics will get closer to each other as time goes on. Neo, Scorpio and New 3DS show that the days of a static piece of hardware lasting 5-10 years are gone.

I thought MS bankrolled Steel Battalion?

The position Capcom is in right now is pretty similar to the early 2000s. They recently needed Sony's help to make Street Fighter V.

"Animal Crossing 3DS/Wii U -- This is the last huge established series Nintendo has to put on Wii U.

Metroid 3DS/Wii U -- No."

Ouch.

A lighter GamePad would be a big deal for me. I avoid using the GamePad in favor of the Pro Controller because it's just easier to use.

I can't believe I have to say this, but the SNES F-Zero is a great game.

F-Zero GX is my favorite racing game.

Bayonetta 2 takes place after Bayonetta. They are episodic, but there are several references to Bayonetta in Bayonetta 2. It's not like a part 1 and part 2 of the same story though.

The world in Fantasy Life seems to plainly suggest that you play several different life classes. There are obvious fishing spots, mining spots and trees to cut down throughout. I'm only 15 hours into the game, but I haven't seen much confusion yet.

This is great news.

The days of a static handheld platform lasting 8 years are over. Games meant for an iPad Air 2 are going to run like crap on an iPad from 2011.

It seems like DSi, a half step toward the next generation. I'd like to know exactly how much faster the CPU is. I'd love to see current games patched to take advantage of the CPU. Especially games that suffer from poor performance, like Luigi's Mansion 2.

Visually, New 3DS looks pretty appealing -- especially for potential 3DS owners. The OG 3DS was an eyesore right from the start.

Seems pretty solid to me. It's hard for me to believe that people didn't expect a yearly update at this point.

I just wish Nintendo had an account system so I could play my eShop games on multiple systems.

I should have found a way to articulate my frustration better, instead of singling out one guy. My issue was with most of that discussion. I thought the listener asked an interesting question. I felt like a lot of that discussion was a shoehorned attempt to criticize the listeners. I'm sure other people felt differently about it.

I listened to this episode up to the point that the host told the listeners to "shut the **** up". Sure, there were a bunch of qualifiers and I get that you guys feel like you need to defend your reviewers. But this was a bit much for me.

Etrian Odyssey IV is a great game.

Well, Wii U is in a TurboDuo or Saturn position. Nintendo is in much better shape than NEC/Hudson and Sega were though.

Raising the overall price for a Wii U makes no sense to me, but I think it's the best bundle they've done so far.

I'll be curious to hear more Mario Golf discussion once somebody gets to play the final game.

You can absolutely control the direction the mushroom goes. Hit the box on the left-hand side and it will go right, and vice-versa.

I have no idea what issue Jon is experiencing.

Yeah, I didn't get that either. Weird.
