Nintendo Gaming / Game Gear/TurboGrafx-16 Games You'd Like To See
« on: March 02, 2011, 07:22:37 PM »
So, now that we know Sega Game Gear and TurboGrafx-16 games will be purchasable on 3DS, what games are you hoping to see come out on it?

Personally, I never had either system, so I'm curious what's even good for the two platforms.

Nintendo Gaming / Wii Microphones

So, I was considering buying a Wii Microphone for Beatles Rock Band, but I was wondering if there were any brands that were particularly good quality... or that should be avoided? Also, if anyone knows where I can get some for cheap, that'd be a bonus.

Nintendo Gaming / Question about Wii memory cards
« on: December 08, 2006, 08:55:37 PM »
Am I able to save game files and play them on another Wii?

For example, could I save Zelda, copy it onto an SD card, then bring that to a friend's place and continue playing my game there?

Nintendo Gaming / Router compatable with the DS
« on: July 06, 2005, 01:06:14 PM »
I'm going to be getting a router for the computers in my house, but I wanted to make sure it'd be compatable with the DS when online games come out later this year.

I know that 802.11g is faster than 802.11b.  I think the DS uses 802.11b, right? (Also, do we know what the Revolution will use?)  If the DS uses the b, obviously an 802.11b router would work fine, but would be slower for all the computers in my house.  As I understand, an 802.11g router would NOT be compatable with 802.11b devices, such as the DS.  So, I think I'm stuck either getting a slower router or not being able to go online with the DS.  Am I correct?

General Gaming / Hooking up a GameCube to a PC Monitor
« on: September 16, 2004, 01:26:18 PM »
Greeings.

A friend of mine (who is away at college) is interested in getting a GameCube.  He could borrow from my extensive library of games, plus he'd get Metroid Prime free. Good deal.  Anyway, he only has a PC monitor, and no TV. He's living in a dorm, so he doesn't have much room for both a TV and a monitor.  How exactly would he go about hooking up a GameCube to his monitor?  I found this solution: A Progressive scan VGA cable, but that will work with progressive scan games ONLY.  Plus, after shipping it'll be half the price of the GameCube.  Is there any other solution? One that might work with ALL games?

Nintendo Gaming / About Player's Choice Titles
« on: March 12, 2004, 06:23:25 AM »
With Enter the Matrix joining the Player's Choice games, I got to wondering...

What are the requirements for a game to become a Player's Choice?

How many GameCube Player's Choice games are there?

Are there a lot more XBox Platinum Hits games?  (I'm sure there's a ton more PS2 Greatest Hits games.)

Nintendo Gaming / DPL II/Progressive Scan Support
« on: February 27, 2004, 04:30:14 AM »
Does anyone know a good place that lists every GameCube game and which ones support Dolby Pro Logic II, Progressive Scan and widescreen?  The IGN forums had (and possibly still have) such a list, but that forum is is only accessable by becoming a paying member.  I thought I saw a similar list on this forum a long time ago.  Anyway, if anyone knows a good place for this kind of info, I would appreciate it.
