It's also redundant because almost every single one of these now has a button assigned to it if someone clicks on the reply button.  But, like BNM said, it seems like a lot of posters--including some who have been around for a long time and even some staff members--don't know how to do a lot of this stuff.

Agreed.

Also, BNM, you forgot abbreviations.

BlackNMild2k1:
I got tired of typing. That was one of the next ones to go up, I just wanted to post the ones that are most commonly used and the ones that have been asked about most recently.

I'll put it up next though.

BranDonk Kong:
There should be a way to show the actual [ and ] symbols and not have it converted into BB code.

That's all I got for now. Let me know if there are any mistakes or anything else that needs to be added.
I also plan on adding using smilies (I think i have the complete list) and more complex things like bullet point, {code} and other such things.

Any comments or suggestion are welcome.

BlackNMild2k1:
Stevey is the forum code master though.
I even quoted his post to try and see what he did. I have no idea.

Can you explain it to me and convert this for me too?

How to use Abbreviations/Acronyms in your post:
This is a good way to "hide" text behind a word or sentence and can be used to caption a picture
Use the tag {abbr=X} or {acronym=X}
Then replace "X" with the text you want to hide.
i.e. {abbr=You'll never find this text because its hidden}
now put the sentence, word or image* you want to post after your tag
i.e. {abbr=You'll never find this text because its hidden}X marks the spot!
follow that with the tag {/abbr} or {/acronym} depending on which one you started with
i.e. {abbr=You'll never find this text because its hidden}X marks the spot!{/abbr}
X marks the spot!
or {abbr=You'll never find this text because its hidden}{img}http://i49.tinypic.com/2z8vvbt.jpg{/img}{/abbr}
