According to another story I just read the Cube topped out at just over 21 million, so within a couple months the Wii is going to pass that.

NWR Feedback / What happened to the favicons?

I use Firefox and I like to keep a lot of tabs open, I use an extension that allows me to minimize my tabs down to just the favicons (that's what Firefox calls them, the little site-specific icons next to the URL), and now the NWR ones are no longer there. Is there any specific reason they're gone?

If you look at the screenshot of the starting group from the actual game you'll see that there's no rhyme or reason as to the placement of the characters on the select screen.

I can't believe that they'd include both Wolf and Falco over Krystal. I don't even know how they'd do two of those three Star Fox characters without them being clones.

I doubt that roster for a number of reasons, but the inclusion of ROB is interesting. I haven't seen him on any of the lists, but we know that some playable characters start on the evil side at first and he was playable in Mario Kart DS.

EDIT: Now that I think of it, he could be what Game & Watch was to Melee, a somewhat obscure character from Nintendo's history that is the last character you get.

There is no way it's only 30. I'd be fine if it were 35 and all the characters were unique and balanced as much as possible, but 30 just isn't enough.

Without seeing the actual borders of the screen it would be tough to tell. I can see how it would extend to 30, by filling out the third row and adding one on either end of each row, but I don't know where it would go from there. I guess probably into a fourth row, but I can't see if there's space for that.

There seems to be no reason for where the characters are placed on that screen, unless the rule was to make sure characters from the same series aren't together. Also makes me think that one of the Kirby characters probably should have been an unlockable.

This is going to be something that people will either really love or absolutely hate. I myself am in the first category. This sounds like it could be really fun, and I'm glad to see that some Pokeball Pokemon have effects beyond just dealing damage.

Okay, you're right, there's great potential there. Not remembering all those things makes me want to go back and play WW some more. Maybe after I beat the other half dozen Zeldas I haven't finished yet.

But Krystal....I just don't get it. Is there some awesome game she was in that I somehow overlooked or something? From what I know, its been Dinosaur Planet, Assault, and Command. I played all of them and she never stood out as anything special...to be honest, she she just felt like an irritating character that Rare pulled out of their asses. She just never seemed to fit in.



So if anyone can prove me wrong that would be great. I know that alot of people like her and I really am trying to myself, but I just don't get it. So, what game did you like her most in? why? What would be a good move set for her other than stick attack#1, stick attack#2, stick attack#3, and super talk to animals attack?

She stands out more as a character than Falco or Wolf do and using the staff is better than another character with a blaster. And movesets don't have to correspond completely with in-game moves (see Fox, Captain Falcon).

EDIT: Bill types too fast.

I don't care if TimeSplitters 4 is Wii exclusive or not as long as they put real effort into the Wii version, as the rumor suggests is happening. Though I wonder why Microsoft cares that much about the game considering every other FPS is already available for the 360. And I'm all for Super Smash Quest.

EDIT: And as long as the gameplay stays the same, if they want to try that with Madden it's okay with me, though I assume you mean 09 and 10 instead of 08 and 09, as 08 was released last August.

I would prefer all the listed veterans to return, and of the listed characters I'd prefer Wind Waker Link, Krystal, Animal Crossing Main, Ray Mk. II. Replacing Mewtwo with Lucario would be fine if Mewtwo appeared as a boss in The Subspace Emissary. I know many people are big supporters of Geno, Isaac, and Ridley, they're not on my list because I never played Super Mario RPG (I never had an SNES, I will play it once it comes to the VC) or Golden Sun (no real excuse for that one, it just slipped by me), and while I've played Metroid, and love it, I don't think Ridley would be a good choice for a playable character.

You can manage data on the GC memory card in the Wii Menu, why not in a Wii game?
