it is still no worse than killing cause bossman said to. hell they deserve the horrific deaths, if anyone was being tortured in an asylum as a part of an experiment, anything they do to their captors is wholly deserved.

My big sis loves GH 1 n'2 I gotta tell her this.

I still can't believe Yngwie Malmsteen isn't on the list, the game IS called Guitar Hero after all. Black Star or Rising Force would be good songs for the game. and DIO needs to be in it too, but he won't

I really hope Link has an alt outfit, other than the TP Link- he doesn't look right wearing chainmail.

Pit looks awesome though.

There is no point in the kills in MH2, except survival at the very crudest level of existence.

well survival is a much better reason for killing than 'bossman sez to"

Its Yokoi Gumpei(Gunpei?) and he wasn't just hardware, his team was responsible for Kid Icarus and Metroid. and he produced a few other games for nintendo also.

and he is responsible for possibly the best puzzle game made.

also icelandic people scare me(look like elves )

This is one of the few reasons I'm getting an X360 i watched the gameplay videos on IGN and i can't seem to find anything wrong with them, other that Baldur's animation, and the fact that Baldur is ugly as sin when everyone who knows who Balder is knows he is a beautiful man.

Interesting. Can you elaborate?

Both views hinge on the assumption that Miyamoto was right in valuing wide spaces and quick load times in his game design choices. In my opinion, I blame the adherence to the cartridge format on the master himself, for better or for worse...

Panzer Dragoon Saga had pretty wide spaces from what i remember, not sure if they're as big or bigger than M64 since i don't like that game, but they are pretty big.

worst idea ever in a racing game

maybe i had the cpu use them on me alot, did you play it on hard? on easy and normal your lucky if they use it on you, but on hard i have it used on me a good amount. and Hank is evil... patrick is kinda annoying when you have something good and he does sweep dreams, but hank is just evil.

yes a tree fell in love with my room, then tried to have sex with it. bad tree, bad bad tree.

the store had meteos but from videos it doesn't look as fun, the only thing is seems to have over Gunpey is single card multi.

they ARE unique, for instance Vincent has Rising Sun which makes all tiles move up 3 spaces, while patrick hasSweep Dreams which move all tiles to the right side of the screen, and hank is just evil with Rags to riches making your pieces flip(botom pieces are on top so you have to rush to drag them down. then they have the non specific moves like no touch or slot. the only thing is you need to get 19(i think) tile combos for unique attacks.

i kinda like the smaller xbox controller, the big one sucks though(still better than PS') the 360 has quite a comfy controller too.

and xbox/x360 by far has the best Dpad out of current consoles. but the best digital control was NeoGeo pocket color's Dstick thing(best thing for fighting games ever)

I would like to correct a couple thing in this game review
1.Unfortunately, the story mode from the original is gone, so unique enemy attacks are no longer part of the game. False, the characters have 1 specific 'attack' each
2. Multiplayer is also included and requires only a single card for play. Also false, you need 2 cards for multi play sadly.
3. Too often, one column will get less tiles than the others, and players are forced to wait for a tile to appear while managing the rest of the columns lest they be met with doom. Due to small flaws such as this, Gunpey, while fun, is simply not a classic concept in league with games such as Tetris. False, i find tetris to be just as 'random' as gunpey, and provide 1% the entertainment of it.

well #3 is opinion but the other 2 are true.

and sorry for the dead thread, but the wrong info was bothering me.

Reader Reviews / Gunpey
« on: April 10, 2007, 02:33:27 PM »
I bought this game a coupe days ago, cause i needed a pizzle game cause all mine were destroyed a couple years ago when a tree landed on my room not really knowing much about it, yet fell in love with it.

Gunpey is a puzzle gamewhere instead of blocks, the player must make continuous lines from one side of the playing area to the other(5 wide 10 tall). splitting into more lines if made to. You can only switch tiles vertically, with the stulus or buttons and dpad. There are a few playmodes Frontier mode which is basically story(vs cpu), bringing me to a NWR review quote,
Quote

Unfortunately, the story mode from the original is gone, so unique enemy attacks are no longer part of the game.

There are character specific attacks for instance Vincent's Rising Sun which moves all enemy tiles up 3 spaces. along with normal attacks(line shape changing, no touch).

Time attack which you try to get a high score in 30, 60, or 90 seconds. Endless mode which as you can infer from the name is non-ending with a climbing diffuculty, but you can pick to play 2 games at once. stage attack which you pick a stage and either survive long enough or get a certain amount of tiles cleared(noy sure).

And finally 2p Vs mode which brings me to a second quote
Quote

Multiplayer is also included and requires only a single card for play.

no you need both DS' to have a card, but there is thesingle player download play.

The art is nice and colorful, and the tiles are easy to see for the most part, one board i found hard to see but thats all.

The game is very simple to play, but very satisfying when you make 25+ tile combos. I would say it is a must buy for puzzle fans, personally i think it is MUCH better than tetris, and possibly better than Wario's Woods and Dr. Mario, but that I'm not sure about(havent played multi in Gunpey yet).
