ive been using chrome and all the pictures were overlaying on the text, since it didn't go away I thought I'd try it out with firefox and things look just fine. by the way i'm running Debian Lenny :-D

I totally see it being worth $300 but I really hope they don't charge that much...  before really thinking about it much I was thinking that $200 would really fit the product all things considered and that really is the area that I hope they can keep it at...  that's about what I'd wanna pay.  but then again Apple is showing us time and time again that the average person who wants a new shiny handheld device is willing to pay multiple hundreds to get it!!

oooo I just looked at the pics...  it looks so nice!  I thought I would only like it if they completely remade the game for the 3DS but I don't care if they remade it or just ported it so long as it looks this nice in real life!  I never bought the game multiple times, just once for the N64 and once for the Gamecube (although I never beat the Master Quest...) and I for one would love to buy it again for Nintendo's sweet 3D handheld!


as much as I LOVE this idea and as much as I know it's easy money for them... I still wish they would remake Zelda II :-(

I'm only about five hours or so into the game myself so I wouldn't want any spoilers..  but I would really like to hear his impressions about later parts of the game.  I'll just make sure not to come back until I've finished the game, please put up more impressions when you can!

I actually forgot about this demo disc until I was listening to a podcast and they were talking about having trouble getting the disc.  next chance I got I went to a gamestop and was expecting to have some trouble but luckily it went pretty smooth.  I saw the discs on the counter, asked it I could take one, they said sure.  however when I asked if I could take a second for my girlfriend's family (they're really into guild wars and they usually buy the current Nintendo system) they said only one disc per person, oh well I had to try...

Pretty sure there is not.

Everything I'm reading so far says this is true.  How said.  I've spent 12,800 Points and have 12,400 more stored on the system ($252 worth total - Thanks Pepsi!).

Basically, this means a DSi XL will run me about $450.  Sucks.

I thought you could just do a DS account transfer from old DS to new DS?  The shop account doesn't move with your DS account??

yeah if I were gonna get a DS at all any time soon I would definitely get the XL for only $20 more than the DSi...  but they're already talking about the next Nintendo handheld!  that makes it a little hard to want a NEW DS at this point.  then again they may not release the next Nintendo handheld in America till next holiday season.  okay I take it back if they offer a good trade in deal on older DS's then I'd definitely consider the XL :-D

Ok I'm torn...  As a Nintendo fan I've had the luxury of being front row and center to Suda 51's rise to stardom, I love his team's works so far and I eagerly await anything that they plan to work on in the future.  But Silent Hill is one of my favorite games to date.  I'm psyched to hear the Yamaoka is joining Grasshopper Manufacture, but that means that any new Silent Hill entries will not necessarily be created with him having some integral part in it's genesis!  That really sucks!  *sigh* oh well, here's hoping they can hire him on to at least work with Climax (or who ever handles future SH games) when they need him, I never heard of him working on any other Konami franchise now that I think of it.

my guess is they really don't have to buy up the technology because they've always got their R&D going.  they could have already developed something like this back in their labs and if they try and come out now and say we did this first people would only see them as sore losers.  If they have a technology that's not ready or not cheap enough they'll hold onto it.  And then again maybe they don't already have something like this cooking behind the scenes but who's to say they couldn't develop their own technology their own way and not have to pay licensing fees for it now or later...  I still remember before the Wii came out they were working on a way to have multiple people see different things through the same display using holograms or something.  I wonder how that's coming along...

How sad is it that this actually sounds cool...  I know it's nothing new, I guess I've just always liked stuff like this. 
And here I was telling myself after playing Diamond so little that I didn't need to buy anymore pokemon games.  Why does a remake of Gold/Silver have to sound even a little appealing??  How much did the last pokemon sell for?  Should I not be surprised when these new ones retail for $39.99?  I guess I can pass...  Now if they could find it in their heart (hehe) to sell them for $29.99 I wouldn't have any last line of defense.  I guess I should be glad the likelyhood of that happening especially with these new Pokewalkers being included in the box is pretty much 0%...

the DSi is already $169 so how are these bundles any cheaper?! gosh if only they selling a DSi for even $20 cheaper than normal then I might as well say it's time to get a DSi... how many years after the initial DS released and they're not bringing down the price at all but they're actually raising it!!  new DSi=$169! new DSi XL=$220!!!

THAT SHIRT IS F-ING AWESOME!!!  but I agree this video is not helping me resist buying one either.  sh** they're already available...  better start saving up.  (one of the main reasons that I ever considered buying one is because the screens are supposed to be bigger, but honestly they don't seem much bigger to me...  apparently that doesn't matter much because I'm still putting money aside for my THIRD DS)

I'm sure the screens are brighter, even if just a little, and I really love the fact that they are just a little bigger but I think it would have been good if they had focused on improving battery life more...

I still haven't finished the first one yet (will be getting to that very soon) but from what I've seen so far all I ask of them for the sequel is that they polish it up more.  I love so much about the first one all I really remember negatively is the slowdown...
