I would prefer if he remained adjacent actually. Like he's completely aware of all of the events and is loosely related to it (like how Bruce Wayne was on the ground during Man of Steel) but he just goes NOPE and actively avoids their plots.

I'm partial to him being the new "Stan Lee" cameo once Stan Lee passes on and they run out of backup stock footage of him.

They may not scale RR back, but they'll certainly put the muzzle on him. Some of those jokes aren't gonna fly like they used to. I just hope they pay him enough to curb his artistic integrity.

Not gonna lie I'm completely won over already. Justice Smith is a decent actor in The Get Up, Reynolds seems like a good pick for smart-ass Pikachu, and the whole things seems just weird enough to be entertaining. I gotta see this in the cinema.

Ok Key and Peele would make me watch this...but every Toy Story tells the exact same story. Detective Pikachu > Toy Story 4.

Side note, they should have gone with Danny DeVito for Pikachu's voice.

It's just another uninteresting superhero movie with nothing special going for it like Oatmeal.

TBF I have found almost all the Marvel movies other than Deadpools rather bland. Every time you think they might do something interesting they stop short.

I've watched 4 episodes so far (of 10, all 10 are up at once) and Homecoming is extremely eery. It's gorgeously well made in a deliberately unsettling kind of way. It doesn't have cliffhangers but gently teases its story out in a "why did you end there?????????!" kind of way - plus having 10x 30 minute episodes makes it extremely bingeable.

All the cream of wheat haters are nuts. That stuff is the best. Though to be fair I've yet to try grits. I missed out on my one chance when I was in Dallas a few years back. Overslept and had no time to go before my meeting :-(
