Podcast Discussion / Episode 176: Anger Management

Usher the year that was 2021 out the door with Guillaume, TYP, and Radio Trivia.

Did you like this episode's game selections? Let us know in TalkBack! Think you've got a better choice that hasn't been used yet? Then send it my way and your request might be on the next episode of Radio Trivia: Podcast Edition!  Heck, throw in a question and specific songs if you want.  Just remember, it has to be a game released on a Nintendo system in North America (unless we say otherwise)!

Do you like music? Video game music? I hope so, because it's Radio Trivia crossover week!

Michael "TYP" Cole from Radio Trivia joins this week to talk about the music from four games (one more than last time!), and let me tell ya, we got some good songs this time. That's in the middle of the show, though. Let's not get ahead of ourselves.

Before that, we talk about a ton of games we've been playing. Casey and Perry get into the N64 Nintendo Switch Online stuff a little bit. Perry also chats Kero Blaster, Metroid Dread, and some other stuff. Alex ended up getting Guardians of the Galaxy early (on PS5, what a betrayer!) and seems to be a big fan. There's also a cloud version on Switch, and this week's Poll Time was kind of about that.

Then we got Radio Trivia, and we also got a little bit of news at the end of the show RE: Advance Wars and Grand Theft Auto.

Next week, don't forget: we're talking Metroid! Metroid Dread spoilercast and Metroid Prime I Demand You next episode! Don't forget to play 'em before then!

Podcast Discussion / Re: Episode 173: 201X -- The Munster Years
« on: April 01, 2021, 07:41:43 PM »
And to answer my own question, NBCUniversal owns The Munsters. Which makes sense, since it was inspired by classic monster movies associated with Universal Studios. Apparently there was a pilot in 2012 that never was made into a full series. But, based on my memory regarding the awkwardness of The Munsters Today from the 80s (that being the likely primary contributor) I agree with Greg that an animated show would probably be a better fit for any sort of revival.

« on: October 24, 2019, 01:03:00 PM »

TYP and Jonny stop by for some Radio Trivia fun! Of course plenty of games to talk about as well, including Mario Kart 8, Yooka Laylee and the Impossible Lair, Valfaris, and more.

We have an absolutely packed show for y'all this week. We're honored to be joined by Michael "TYP" Cole and Jonny Metts for our annual Radio Trivia show. But before getting into all that we cover a ton of games. TYP has been introducing Mario Kart 8 to his little one as an introduction to gaming as well as jamming out on some Kirby's Dream Land. Perry's sinking more time into Yooka Laylee and the Impossible Lair. Jonny has been busy rocking out with Valfaris, while dabbling with Celeste's DLC and a Tetris 99 addiction. Lastly Casey has continued his dominate reign in Mario Party.

One of, if not our favorite podcasts out there is Radio Trivia, hosted by TYP! Continuing our annual crossover episode, we really knock it out of the park this year. Instead of just three games worth of songs, with Jonny joining in, we have four killer selections and think you guys are going to love this year's edition!
