If he was a sickly green colour, they could call him MewSpew.

If he was overweight and wearing a poncho, they could call him MumuTwo.

If he was a cross-breed between Miltank and Mewtwo, we could call him MooTwo.

On the other hand, if he was a cross-breed between Noctowl and Mewtwo, he would be HooTwo.

If he was a soup-like beef dish, we could call him MewStew.

If there were five of them that sang and danced together, they could be Da MewCrew.

... okay, I'm done with the terrible jokes. I actually like the design, but I'm not particularly fond of the name MewThree, even though it makes sense for them to call him that. I know it's not official yet, so I'm hoping they'll come up with something that's catchy AND makes sense!

Yeah, I noticed that in the demo, too. I didn't really find it to be too much of an issue, but I see why it would bother some people.

So Nintendo TVii, while cool, has basically muddied one of the original Wii U selling points: that dad can watch TV while kid continues to game on the 'pad.

No, that's not necessarily true. Maybe your TV is different, but my video games play in a different video channel than my satellite TV does. You could easily move New Super Mario Bros. U onto the GamePad and then change the video channel so your dad could watch TV.

Despite school tomorrow, I'm going to be staying up writing a review and listening to the Japanese press event! When I wake up, I'll only have about two hours until I have to tune in once again for the North American event, during one of my courses. Yes, I could watch it later, but that's not quite as fun and exciting as watching it in the heat of the moment! Hooray for dedicated Nintendo fans! :D

I can't wait to see how this game turns out. It seems like it has the potential to be very good, or very bad....

Hmm :/ So I guess NintendoWorldReport forgot about me. Haven't heard from anywhere in a couple months, so I've moved over to NintendoFuse. Check out the comic every Wednesday over there.

I voted Fire Emblem... I played the one on Wii and really got into it both through the gameplay and the story, but I didn't feel engaged by the story at all in this game. I want to see what the RFN crew thinks about it.

Q: Why are Zach's reviews always the best ones?
A: Because he always gets stuck with hilariously crappy games.

Oh don't worry, you'll get your goombas! :)

I was referring to the site's old webcomic. It was called Goombas.

Well I'll be! I just read through all of them, but it's too bad they only did 16. I would have liked to see how the series evolved over time.

I must be blind, because I swear in 1-2 Mario's hat is on fire.

Don't worry, you're not blind, his hat IS on fire! I don't think him having "his mind blown out of the back of his head from eating a bullet" like oohhboy suggested would be good for the continuity of the series. ;)

A series of Mario-related comics about the flipside of the Bros.' world.

http://www.nintendoworldreport.com/feature/28260

Updated every Friday is Alexandre Trottier's comic about Mario and friends. Titled "The Other Side of the Flagpole," it illuminates Mario, his friends, and his enemies.

Let us know what you think in the comments, and keep checking in to see when the next comic goes up.

Nintendo Gaming / Re: 3DS Usage
« on: May 24, 2011, 12:00:05 AM »
Hmmm... let's check out this Activity Log....

100 000 steps taken
160 hours total Play Time

Pokemon White - 81:29
Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass - 35:32 (Accomplished solely by my dad)
Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks - 10:56
Pilotwings Resort - 9:38
Nintendo 3DS Camera - 6:04 (How did I manage to do this?!?)
StreetPass Mii Plaza - 4:06 (None of the people in Saskatchewan have good puzzle pieces! But I beat Find Mii!)
AR Games - 2:51
Face Raiders - 1:46 (Hilarious game! My Face Collection includes Charlie Sheen and George Bush!)
Game Notes - 1:01 (This is a much better drawing tool than the one in 3DS Camera... more colours?)
System Settings - 0: 46
Nintendo 3DS Sound - 0:38

... and blah, blah, blah, the rest is boring :)

As you can clearly see, my 3DS has already been used quite extensively (although my copy of Twilight Princess for Wii has 200+ hours on it, somehow!) and I expect it to be played even more as soon as more games come out for it! Also, the battery has only died on me twice! I'm not having any problems with it, that's for sure.

Talk about lucky! I heard about this on either RFN or the Newscast, and I was really interested. I sincerely hope they bring this to the 3DS e-Shop!
