Another version of Street Fighter II?! What's different about this one from the Super Street Fighter II - Hyper, Turbo, Mega Edition that was already released from the SNES? The only one I ever even remember playing way back when was the Hyper Tournament Edition on the Genesis.

I'd just wait for the HD version of SF 2 on 360/PS3, should be out soon.

World of Goo, and Secret of Mana I will purchase. I want to see what this CUBELLO is all about though.

Edit: I watched the info vid for CUBELLO on the Nintendo channel. I bought the game, 600 wii points, played the first stage. I like it. Stephen Hawkings pseudo voice ftw.

Holy cow!  World of Good and Secret of Mana?  I love you, Nintendo.  I don't care that your holiday lineup is crap.  I'll never leave you if you keep putting games like this on VC and WiiWare.

So the US gets two new games, widening the list of titles Europe needs for catching up but still no MaBoShi?

It's funny how the description of Cubello sounds like Plättchen...

Cubello is fantastic.  The simple art style and ambient sound effects remind me of Cosmic Smash for the Dreamcast.  The gameplay is simple and challenging.  I love it.

wow . I guess Nintendo understands that hardcore disk games for this fall is limited so they brought the big guns out in the downloads. All last month was great and so far this month is pretty cool too.

Special Championship Edition is more or less the Genesis version of Turbo.

And there pretty much is no definitive Street Fighter II on the VC because Super Street Fighter II Turbo wasn't released on any of the VC consoles.  If you really want a definitive SFII you should get Street Fighter Anniversary Collection for the PS2 or Xbox.  If that isn't an option I would suggest Super Street Fighter II for the SNES as it has all the regular characters.  Then if you want to be more of a purist also get Turbo for the SNES.

Wow, it's been over two months since we've had anything even close to a bad week on the VC.

WiiWare as well. If anything it HURTS even more that the "storage solution" won't be implemented into Spring 09.

By the way Tetris Party is coming on Monday 10/20/08

It seems easy to dismiss another Tetris game priced $12 but IGN Impressions really give me all sorts of hype for this game.

I'd be all over Tetris Party if not for my current storage crisis. Oh well, Tetris has always felt more natural for me on handhelds anyway.

I don't know which would be worse, the current situation of not being able to buy things because of the storage situation or not having storage problems and going completely broke because I buy everything that comes out on the Wii Shop.

Tetris Party this Monday?  Sigh ... guess I'm uninstalling the Internet Channel.  Oh well (not like I ever use it).

I'm really happy to hear Nintendo's supplementing its weak holiday lineup with bloody awesome WiiWare games.

Tetris Party (1200 wii points) came out today for 1200 points for WiiWare.
The Incredible Maze (500 wii points) is the other WiiWare title.

For VC, it's an import week:
Digital Champ Battle Boxing (700 Wii Points) TurboGrafx16
Gradius II (900 Wii Points) TurboGrafx16 CD-ROM

Tetris Party looks like it's a great deal. I might download that today, if it's not a huge download.

According to WiiWare World Tetris Party is only 244 blocks. Considering the amount of content and recent trends that's a lot better than I expected. Also, I hate that it's gotten to the point that I can put the word "only" before 244 blocks without any sarcasm.

In addition to to todays games there is Megaman 9 DLC. The Special stage is 100 points and rumor has it there is a new boss at the end of it.
