The classic puzzler from a new point of view.

Today at the Q1 Media Summit, Nintendo announced that Picross 3D will be released May 3.

The game is a sequel to the 2005 DS game Picross, and features puzzles called nonograms, which involve filling in a grid to reveal a picture. The game, which was developed by HAL Laboratory, was released in Japan last March, and is set to launch in Europe on March 5.

Still somewhat underrated, it should be mentioned that 2D Picross is awesome, and so this game has a lot of potential. Like finishing a crossword puzzle, there's just something satisfying about hammering out a Picross picture.

This game needs a demo on the Nintendo Channel.  It's such a weird concept that I don't see a lot of people taking a blind leap.

Yeah, I wasn't sure what to make of Picross until I tried it, but now it just may be my favorite DS game. It's a game that's pretty simple, but it sounds really complicated. A demo would be very helpful.
