Ian hasn't posted since June 23rd, if my search results are correct... I miss him.
Just some random guy on the internet who has a different opinion of games than you.

All this positive Nintendo news probably made him dry up and vaporize.

It hasn't been that long.  He posted in this thread on July 17.  He's probably just on vacation or something.  wandering was gone longer than this before anyone noticed.

Or sometimes there just sin't anything interesting to post on. I get like that sometimes too, coming here, checking up on threads, but sometimes I'm just not in the mood, or don't have the energy, to contribute the bilious vile essence that ferments deep within my soul, even thought YOU'D NEVER SUSPECT! NEVER SUSPECT! NOBODY SUSPECTS THE BUTTERFLY! *MUAHAHAHAHAHA*

I mentioned this in the "No News" thread - many regulars are missing, including Ian, KN, Paladin, mantidor (until yesterday), etc, etc.

I think Ian posted something yesterday.  I forget what, I think it was only like a 5/10 on the cynical scale.  It was probably in a talkback thread.

The lack of news was making things slow around here...but in the past few days things have really heated up!
That's my opinion, not yours.

I was kinda wondering this too. If nothing else he'll be back for the Wii launch, I can't imagine he'd miss out on that....

Mybe he has nothing to say, but where is kirbykillerdedede, he hasn't posted since the wii name change? Did he get ban or did we forget to let him out of the trash bag after we took the E3 mafia break?

There's not much to talk about right now. The only really active threads are speculation about the Wii (which I mostly ignore as well by now) and some stuff in Other Systems.

I've notice Ian's been missing for awhile. I've been afraid he's left the forums. Despite what people say about him, I like him a lot and his opinions. He's one of the most interesting people on this board. If I see, he's posted something, I'll go check it out all the time because one never knows what he'll say. The other person I've been wondering about is the Perm. But he just posted today, so he's still around. Still, I agree there's really not much to post about these days. Thank goodness for mafia games. That'll boost my post count. Still, I hope Batman still watches over this corner of Gotham.
Whoever said, "Cheaters never win" must've never met Khushrenada.

I mentioned this a while back - he left when he found out that the Wii's graphics would be like the N64.

That's disappointing. I was hoping for graphics no greater than an "Etch-A-Skecth" myself. I already have the power of an N64 in my pocket (Nintendo DS).

I need the title "Ian in Training".
