Please accept my SINCERE apologies. I did respond to the only email I received from you, but you are absolutely right, this is ridiculous. I have your headphones, they are fixed and I will send them out tonight. In all honesty they were at my shop in a box, I took them there to solder the new wiring in (after your first email) and then they just got lost in the shuffle, but I brought them home when I left tonight. This is not the way I like to do things, and it IS NOT the way that I do things. Just this second I checked my email, and you are right you did email me again on 5/27. I just missed it somehow, and I am very sorry for this. You should be getting them in the mail early next week. I am truly, truly sorry. I didn't even realize there was an envelope with money in it too, but you will be getting that back as well.

Apology accepted! Thanks for clearing that up. You do not have to send the money back...don't you have a small child,?  use the money to buy something for him ! i would prefer you did that, thanks again

Sounds like you were impressed with what he did with your ipod, so at least everything worked out good there. It sucks about your headphones, though... one possibility is that it could have gotten lost in the mail. Sometimes that does happen. But I guess that doesn't account for him not responding to your emails. But let's wait and see what he has to say about it before we pass judgement.

Yes his initial work was FANTASTIC, though I am certain nothing was lost in the mail. He confirmed they were delivered.  I hope my post didnt sound too rude.  And i just did not want any other NWR member to have to deal with such sillyness.

it is worth noting that anything sent to this repairman has a 50 50 chance of never being returned.  About a year ago brandogg fixed my ipod which was glorious and quick. But in January I sent him my second repair. I sent a broken pair of head phones and some money for the repair, only to have my belongings never returned.  I have tried many times to politely request my things back, but with no luck.  It has been over six months , more than enough time to make said repair. He has also stopped responded to any emails.  Thus use his services at your own risk.  Pretty shady stuff.

Secret World of Arietty.    by Studio Ghibli.......8.5

This one falls right below Spirited Away and Grave of Fireflies for me.  The relationship between the two main characters is heartwarming, and Arietty is soooo cute.   The dubbed english versions hits US theaters this month I believe so if you cant stand subbed movies or dont know Japanese there is that to look forward too.

Xseed said the developer wanted to leave the in game dialogue in french for all regions, as it gave the world more of an exotic feel or something.  some phrases you can note are when he thrust forward he says va, va, yea, yea... va meaning go. Also the characters regularly greet eachother with a salut..or hey....also the main charcters little helper gives you a lot of on y va. (lets go), not to mention where you get your quests is labeled quête (french for quest).

"There is some very limited voice acting, but it isn’t much more than a few phrases for each character, in Japanese, that are recycled throughout the game".........

In my north american copy of the game the characters all speak french' .  what gives?  did you play with sound off? To be fair the audio quality is quite ****.

great review otherwise and you are pretty spot on  the game is easy pretty much to a fault, which is a shame because i quite enjoy the art style and battle system robo mechanic tetris setup.

32gb is too small that's what my PSP  has now .  and i can only assume that the games' file sizes are only going to increase.  Has it been mentioned yet  if this thing can keep more than one profile on it (like ps3) for managing regional accounts and what not????

Just a follow up for everyone, I got my iPod back today.  Brandogg's service was prompt and the repair appears to be of excellent quality.  I would strongly recommend his repair service.

sorry for the late response thanks for the recommendations, I am still working on the same thing with my PSP. What you described with the Dreamcast sounds spot on to what I am trying to do. I've gotten to where I can open up the eboot emulators source code in a text editor.  However I  have like no knowledge of programming so I am at a standstill.  My options as I see it, find a way to outsource this little code I need, learn some  of C( whichever the emulator is programmed in), or try to compare the code with the Dreamcast auto booting emulator with the psp one of the same system and see if I can figure it out by stroke of blind luck and googling.    :(
