I'm confident that Nintendo is just wacky enough to do both a new line of Amiibo and discontinuing them simultaneously. DON'T LET US DOWN, NINTENDO!

So the Splatoon themed controllers just got announced.

No one else wants to participate? I was going to track totals towards the different predictions, but won't bother if people aren't interested in it.

Smash 4 Switch $30
Fire Emblem Switch Unveiling Trailer $20
Virtual Console Service on Switch $10
Beyond Good & Evil 2 (Switch) $40

I don't like this currency system. I prefer Euro.

Pokemon Stars (Switch and/or 3DS) $5.00
Monster Hunter XX (3DS & Switch) $5.00
3D Metroid $5.00
Madden (Switch) $5.00
Beyond Good & Evil 2 (Switch) $5.00
Amiibo centered game (Nintendo Infinity?) $5.00
Smash 4 Switch  $10.00

FEATURE ANNOUNCEMENTS
Online Service includes universal communication/voice chat $5.00
Virtual Console Service on Switch $15.00
Unified Account System w/ cross-system purchases 5.00

HARDWARE ANNOUNCEMENTS
New JoyCon colors (splatoon themed purple/orange?) $5.00
SNES Mini $25.00  (Will come with an ability to purchase SNES and NES virtual console games.)
New Amiibo ($5.00)

These all seem like safe bets to me.  So I am putting more money on the sure fire things...and $5.00 on the questionable.
I don't think the Amiibo game will be Nintendo Infinite, but I think it will be a strange Download only game that uses Nintendo Amiibos for the core mechanic.

I'm thinking it'll be a relatively conservative E3 for Nintendo, with very little 2018 stuff.

20$ - Mario Odyssey-themed booth a la last year's Zelda theme that will not quite capture the same amount of hype.

10$ -Showcasing new characters and stages that are coming up for ARMS, with one available "right now!"

5$ - Virtual console - but only NES, SNES and N64 will be confirmed for launch.

5$ - Another 3DS Fire Emblem because why not.

5$ - Fire Emblem Warriors gets some kind of cumbersome connectivity with the mobile game.

$10 - Animal Crossing mobile announced for Thanksgiving. Compatibility with Amiibo cards through NFC in phones.

10$ - No Netflix, Hulu, etc. video streaming services yet for Switch. Still "coming soon" with no further details.

5$ - 2 ARMS characters as Mario Kart 8 DX downloadable content. For free.

10$ - Xenoblade 2 will be the "and one more thing..." extensive video at the end.

20$ - paid online service will receive very little explanation. It will only work for several games (Spla2n, ARMS, MK8) because Nintendo hasn't made any deals yet with third party online games like FAST RMX. Some games will remain free online and everything will work on an ad-hoc basis that will infuriate comment sections.

GTA5 for Switch. However GTA6 will get announced for the other systems removing the spotlight entirely. $20

Retro will have a game, but it will not be Metroid $20

Nintendo will announce some sort of universal account system. Some games from Wii U will be able to be brought over. Digital downloads only. Developers will be totally unaware and unprepared to move games over. Because Nintendo withheld this information there will be at least 6 games which are slightly upgraded to go around the no-port rule(which nintendo obviously never followed themselves) The developers who developed the newer versions will be pissed. 2 of these games will get delayed and ultimately become deluxe editions on other consoles. These will be the highest rated games out of the bunch $10

I'm will go mostly with Steefosaurus on streaming services. Netflix will get announced for fall, but no word on Amazon, Hulu, HBO GO etc. $10

There will be a Metroid game, it will bve developed by a small developer. It will be 2D. It will be playable on the show floor, but people will complain it is unambitious and compared it to the Contra game for ps3 that came out a few years ago $5

Games we already know about like Mario Oddysee, Arms, and some Zelda DLC will be there $5

Nintendo will announce a game revolving around 2 worlds. One world is only available in handheld mode, and the other world is only available in console mode.  There is some sort of light side/ dark side interaction and puzzle solving. It might be a Pikmin game or a new IP $5

Smash Bros Deluxe will be announced. It's exactly the same game as Smash Bros WiiU/3ds Smash Bros. It will be tri-platform compatible though. It will have ice-climbers and 2-3 other characters. And 6 new stages based on those characters. The characters are either going to be Goku and Vegeta, Naruto Characters, or Knuckles, Tails, and Eggman, there is a possiblity Sephiroth might be a character. $25

$15 - MK8D DLC

$10 - Netflix, et al

$10 - Xenoblade 2 gets a subtitle

$10 - Pikmin 4

$8 - Time dedicated to FIFA

$5 - Smash Bros

$5 - Pokemon spin-off on Switch

$2 - Amiibo restock

I'll give you some odds: Khushrenada reveals himself to be an employee of Nintendo this E3 - 1000 to 1.

My E3 predictions:

Khushrenada reveals himself to be an employee of Nintendo. $100.00

Get hyped.

$1.00: New Metroid game announced by the one studio who can actually make a good Metroid game (Next Level Games).

$1.00: Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle only appears at the Ubisoft dog/pony show and not in Nintendo's video.

$1.00: The Kirby 25th anniversary segment is longer than the Pokemon segment in Nintendo's show.

$1.00: ARMS isn't mentioned during Nintendo's video but has a "hey, it's out tomorrow" segment on day 3 of Treehouse Live.

$1.00: The Switch Fire Emblem game will get its title during a discussion of Fire Emblem Warriors.

$1.00: Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga DX gets Rhythm Heaven Megamix'd (IT'S OUT RIGHT NOW!)

$94.00: Gabe and Tycho announce the takeover of E3 and next year's show will be PAX Southwest.

Next Level Games already tried to make a Metroid game.

It sucked.

You're thinking of Armature Studios. Next Level made the 2016 Game of the Year.

Ah, safe and sound in Khushrenada's warm embrace (of spambot moderation).
Thanks goodness - that was a close call.

Regarding placing bets, where is the option that we all walk away disappointed because Nintendo doesn't announce anything of consequence? Not saying I'm a hater... but someone's gotta be that guy.

And that guy is Miyamoto. We all agreed to this. C'mon ejamer. Know your role. Stay within it.

Also, I'd like to put down another $100.00 on a Mario/Rabbids crossover being shown at E3 along with hands on demos of the game.

An 8 minute direct seems like a lot of it's just going to be a mobile game.

Pokemon is going to mobile, not Switch/3ds. $10

Put $10 on Animal Crossing/online service instead, launching in April 2018.

The only way a Pokemon Direct would have a mobile focus would be if it was being handled by Nintendo/DeNA and not the Pokemon Company's own initiatives.

Well, my big horses were wrong it seems. I was sort of right for the Pokemon and BG&E theories since BG&E was revealed (with no consoles announced) and they are working on a Switch Pokeomon core game. Almost want to give partial credit for those bets.

But other than that, the depressingly safe "more amiibo" was my only win so far. though there is still time for a last minute announcement.

Sooooo that's just one correct really, plus 2 partial ones at best. They showed more 2018 games than I anticipated, with Yoshi, Kirby, plus future releases of Prime 4 and Pokémon Switch (though I imagine both of those being 2019).
