Precisely, and Talim = MAD SALES so thus Talim > Life. It's my warped math!

I will wait for confirmation of lack of Talim before I start thinking of forming a boycott...

It also could've been hella longer. Definitely lef tme wanting for more. Used their source material pretty well. I could tell it was Iselia instantaneously. I was actually mad at myself when I knew that exact spot the school was at and was wondering where the save spot was ;x I can't wait for the next one to see how well it develops in comparison to the game.

Don't get mad at me.

Get mad at Ken, Bombsoldier and all of the others tournament champions who generate the tiers.

You think Peach can survive something like this?

I've seen Ken, Bombsoldier, etc etc vids more than you can possibly know. Yes, she can (Look it up, there a couple of vids of PEach either winning or coming within 1 life of beating Ken) So yeah, it is more than possible to survive.  But like I said, I'm avoiding this subject because no amount of evidence in the world will ever prove me right.

They toyed around with those ideas, Smash_Brother.  When you duck and take an attack, it has much less of an effect on your character.  With someone like Bowser, he really does shrug it off.  The problem was that there wasn't much you could do while ducking to make it work.  For most characters, eventually this would cause them to fly away horizontally, without any real height upon high damage and heavy hit, but this technique works very well for Bowser in the higher damage ranges.  With good timing, a solid Bowser player can take great advantage of this, though so few player as Bowser to start with, so most, if any, use it in lower percentages for other characters, opting not to get hit at all, anyways.

Now players can crawl, so perhaps they took this to another level allowing crawling and attacking to work much better for characters in Bowser's line.

The technique you're referring to is called crouch cancelling. An invaluble technique for all characters light or heavy. Oh, and I'm not even about to touch S_B with this topic again. I'm just going to sit back and use my own experiences in tournament eviroments (Yay for tourney-level Peach players!) for my judgement calls.

I second the use of more Talim, the will instantly make the game more approachable.

In other, this time non-biased, news I would like to envision this game as Soul Calibur meets Smash Bros' adventure mode, except Soul Caliburized. I have some hope in it...for now.

(Again, Banco, more Talim = more interest, at least from me)

Wii so far has:

Zelda:TP
Wii Sports
Excite Truck
Paper Mario
WarioWare
Sonic (another love/hate game)
Godfather
SSX Blur
Madden 2007

All of these games have received good to great reviews, and are liked (even loved) by a great many people. That to me is a solid lineup, even if you take out the "ports".

Where the hell is Loli Golf on this list?  And like hell Wii Sports gets to be on there without Wii Play. And Dragon Ball more than earns its place up there. Also, where the HELL is Trauma Center?! For some reason I get the weird feeling I'm forgetting 1 or 2 titles.

Oh, special Kairon addon, FarCry Vengence ;x

The Gamecube was the easiest to develop for as well. Didn't help it at all. Publishers don't care how easy it is to develop on a console.

Um...little bit of word bending there to help your arguement much? I believe Smash said the CHEAPest...not the EASIest. I'm just saying.

Cheap development + Large userbase + Game not being crap = Maximized profit. Or at least that's what common sense says to me, perhaps I should go ahead and look into that catscan....

I, too, have finished RSG on Medium, Hard, and Very Hard...man Very Hard nearly drove me insane! I think I S-Ranked on Very Hard/Insane...but I'm not 100% sure.

On the EBA side of things I am currently in the process of S-Ranking every song in Hard Rock (JUST 3 MORE TO GO! Curse you Survivor, ABC, and Walkie Talkie Man...actually saving WTM for last since it's easiest.)

Ah Izuna. This is one game where it's hard for me to give non-biased impressions. I like a good challenge. Ikaruga, Viewtiful Joe, and TRauma Center are some of my favorite games. All three, of course, have one thing in common...they are NOT easy but with the right amount of play (And in VJ's case, style) it can become easier to manage. That's how I feel about Izuna as of my 3 hours with the game.

SPOILER ALERT FOR THOSE WHO LIKE TO GO IN COMPLETELY UNTOUCHED!

I've cleared 2 dungeons (They are most definitely revisitable) and what I've discovered so far is that item management is your bes tfriend in the world! Deciding what to keep on hand and what to ditch as you travel further and further down is most vital when you do not have the right item needed to return to town. It is a pain in the ass when your weaponry breaks on you...particulary the Cat Claws but that has way more to do with certain Izuna thoughts than gameplay ;x

The game is difficult. There's a catch though. The game is, to an extent, only as hard as you make it. You can run around to regain health or use your, pretty damn limited early on, healing items to take some of the sting away. Moving to heal has a bit of a drawback though...the enemies move in time with you. When you move, so do they. You can, however, thankfully see them on your map if they're getting too close and you need to change your tactic.

Thinking of that lovely map, I love the always seeable map! Damn thing's a godsend. The map will show you where you have been on the floor you're on, enemies (Which appaear as red dots), items (Appearing as blue dots), and the stairs which take you to the next levle down (Shown as a little triangle). The same screen (Top screen) is also used to show your health, spirit energy, and a few other btis of info I've forgotten ;x

Be warned, when you enter a dungeon you are stuck in there until you either reach a point wher eyou are returned to town or you have a town warp talisman. The dungeons are randomly generated (Which I confirmed to be pretty damn random through a few deaths heh...I admit it ;x) and are fairly large in size. It is possible to clear all the enemies on a single floor so before you go to the next floor you can run around and regain your health.

Combat's pretty straightfoward. It's turn based in essence, though you'll think it's realtime when it isn't (Though it just may be...but I always get to decide what to do once I'm fighting so I will say turn bsed with a real time feel to it). Items playing anice role in your combat as your weaponry is far and few between.

On the whole I am enjoying my time with Izuna so far, quite a bit actually. It's fairly quick paced, a challenge, but most importantly, it's just fun...even if I'm not a 100% sure why it is it just is!I say if you're into the whole dungeon crawling scene and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon was a letdown? Go for it. But again be warned...pansies need not apply to this game. Do not be afraid to die over, and over, and over again depending on your gaming skill level/how much you are into grinding. On that note I should mention that if you take the time? You can damn near become an overpowered freak. (Not unlike another Atlus published handheld title I recently discovered after wondering about it isnce its release...Summon Knight: Swordcraft Story.....damn I love Atlus) So there you have it. If you want me to go into more detail on something just ask and I hope that these impressions were competent enough to understand heh ;o

I doubt it will go that far. Their most profitable projects HAVE been the Naruto games on the Nintendo consoles. How can you stop supporting the company that also proves to be the most profitable?

Simple, you take business lessons from SEGA.

Again with you and this three character thing. The 2nd best recognized player in the world (BombSoldier) does not use any of the "Golden 3" (Marth, Fox, Shiek) as his mainstay. Rather, he uses Falco. His matches vs. #1 (Ken, Marth user) are GREAT! I've seen this dude do things with Falco I didn't even think were humanly possible! Characters who are more than capable of winning tournaments include, but are not limited to, Peach, Captain Falcon, Mario, Dr. Mario, Pikachu (I've already witnessed this done so don't bring me crap about it not being done, you just suck), Falco, Shiek, Marth, ganondorf. waht characters haven't had their full or near full potential unlocked is yet to be seen, but the fact that some haven't speaks volumes to the balance that already exists in Melee.

I want Brawl like a drug. I bought my Wii on the promise of Brawl. Melee made me buy a Cube and I counted down the minutes waiting for it (Desktop timer and it was set into my watch at the time). Smash is lifeblood for me. I've attended many a tournament so don't give me this "Only three characters" BS. You go to some tournament play (I recommend some events from SmashWorld Forums, great people there...here's to you darkrain if you're reading this!) and see what you apparently have not seen just yet.

Oh, a very sweet Bombsoldier video to cap it off for those who haven't seen him in action. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nOKyMf_sa7U

AS I've stated time and again, I work at GameStop (Yes I know, instant devil, etc etc, but hear me out). We have, fairly, frequent shipments of Wii every week. Bare minimum of 3 but up to 12. When we get in our Wii? They sell out in less than 30 minutes, without fail. Smash, your bashing of Nintendo's failure to meet supply would make an assload more sense and wouldn't anger me personally so much if I didn't see a company that is trying their damnedest to get product out there for mutliple regions at once (I mean damn...profit. Who wants that right?! Certainly not Nintendo, they're having too much fun d**king with people on the Wii shortage [Yeah..shortage..I use that term DAMN lightly]) and customers who call me about the damn thing every 5-8 minutes (Oh, we've timed it at work!). Beware Smash, the concept I'm about to put forward may astound and amaze you....demand can outstrip supply. I know, it's bizzare as all get out but I promise you it can happen, and in this case, already is. I understand that you're frustrated, and that's fine and dandy, but this sole blame of NIntendo thing is just making you look less than logical, in my own personal opinion anyway. Here are some insider suggestions to help you though. Eliminate other consumers (I'm serious...they're your real enemy here), form a friendship with someone in retail, bribery (Shifty employees can be your best friend), bite the bullet and just use eBay, create some sort of sob story and make it believable enoguh for someone to give you an inside note on when they expect their next shipment. That's all I care to try to think about at this time.

On topic, I feel for the loss of this lady. Death from drinking too much water is a little known thing, hell, I personally didn't know about it until this incident! So to that extent, I can't exactly call her silly for doing this (Unless she started to feel bad during the contest and kept going, but I don't know this so I won't comment) nor can I place blame on Nintendo...not their fault, period. The closest thing that could possibly be blamed, without knowing all the details, is the radio station. Buuut I'm no investigator, unless I'm playing PW, so I'll leave it at that.

Am I the only one who seriously thinks Gears of Ghost seeing this? I'm wondering if it's really some altered Gears of War engine. Anyways, I love me some Ghostbusters...always wodnered what happened to Ghostbusters 3 (And Gremlins 3 for that matter...were the franchises not good enough to warrant sequels! Come on!)
