While I admit that some of it is nice to listen to, it feels like the bulk of it is needless complaining and cursing. I'm not the sensitive prick that gets all up in one's face if someone drops the F-bomb, but peppering curses for the hell of it is very poor and tiresome. It doesn't feel much different than the many other bitchy things I've come across, it's mostly BS like "Nintendo won't give us what we want cuz it's not cost worthy," "Nintendo's like, 'You want Zelda? Well FU!'" and the occasional stab at Wii Music (which is a game I enjoyed, BTW) or the casual direction Nintendo's taking.

It's just that I personally support the decisions Nintendo's made (not all, but most), and with all the complaints, bitching, and jabs out there... NWR podcast isn't much different... it's simply the vibe I get from it. That's just my opinion, no offense to anyone. <_<

Hey, thats cool, too each his own. Unfortunetly, there are many other Nintendo centric podcasts to choose from. Infendo Radio and The Wiire are as boring as licking new carpet and IGN Voice Chat, while sometime optimistic and informative, is poisoned by the dumbass remarks of Bozon.

What up WiiMonster! I HIGHLY recommend Geometry Wars for Wii if you don't already have it. You can probably grab it for around 10 bucks now.

I snagged it for $20 last year. Very good game. I bought it after a number of the 'cast crew talked it up and recomended it last Summer (was it Summer?). I do wish they'd release the sequel on WiiWare. It's too bad the Wii game sold poorly as that may have shot our chances at any of the future games $:-\$

Yeah, Retro 2 would be perfect for Wiiware. Its a damn shame. Or at least put it on the PSN. Super Stardust is impressive, but its just not as addictive as Geo Wars. I just love mowing down random geometric shapes in huge quantities.

Lawls, nah, HEY EVERYBODY! Been listening to the podcast for like a year, and finally decided to stop by the site and join up! I bought a Wii at launch (that's a funny story, maybe for another day) and loves it! I'm not a "hardcore" gamer anymore, mainly due to lack of time, (being an adult sucks!) and the fact that "hardcore" gamers are pricks. Here's a little about me, in case someone cares...

I'm 25, single, and work like 55 hours a week.

Oh, and I love metal! \m/

My favorite Wii game thusfar is Mario Galaxy, but I'm really looking forward to Wii Sports Resort, and I MAY just get The Conduit when I get paid Friday, just to see if there's any "hardcore" left in me. My favorite DS game is Prof. Layton, and Scribblenauts excites the hell out of me!

I do encourage you to get Conduit. Were planning some crazy get togethers for that. Lindy says it could be like the podcast...with guns. So I'm hoping for all kinds of awesome.

I don't think time decreases you 'hardcore-ness'. People are busy a lot. You still listen to the 'cast and play games so I'd say ypu are still a core/traditional whatever you call it gamer. I'd actually argue people like you and I are true 'mature' gamers because we have to be all grown up and in the real world but we still love and play games when we get the chance.
