I've been on the forums a couple weeks now but haven't introduced myself yet.  Well, in short, I'm a long time Nintendo fan who quit playing about a year after Mario Kart 64 (during the dry spell) and was recently sucked back in by Mario Galaxy.

Very cool, I like the song "Journey of Perfection" the best.  I listen to a lot of electronic myself and like to dabble in it every now and then.  I've got a side project called "Tell Me Where The Bomb Is" where'd I'd like to develop tune's for games (myspace.com/tellmewhere).  A couple tunes for games on the page are "Third Times a Charm" and "Kung Fu Disco Fire".  The Third Time tune is the end song in the third game of an independent RPG called Lepan Khan and Kung Fu Disco Fire is reserved for a wacky side scroller or shmup.  Hopefully, better tunes are on the way.

That is what my ultimate goal is, to make music for video games. Back a couple years ago when I started my record label, I was in the negotiation phase with Nintendo. My proposal was to make a remix cd taking popular NES and SNES themes and making them into club style techno beats to release with the then titled Revolution. They met with me once to discuss the idea, forgot the guys name though, anyways they said they liked the idea but because it was a new company with no "proven distribution network" they would not be willing to take it further. My thinking was with Revolution having Virtual Console I thought that people would be nastolgic for the old games and the CD would be a pre-order bonus or something like that to spark interest in the old games. Turns out they had a different strategy in mind and my idea was rejected.


Journey of Perfection is my newest song, just uploaded this week and am working on a music video right now. I will have to check out your other project as well.

Awesome, crazy forum bachelor party FTW.

Getting married on Sunday specifically to accommodate my parents who own a food business. Had I got married on a Saturday, they would've lost their two best nights due to the wedding and rehearsal. This way, they lose only Saturday to the rehearsal and dinner. Other family members also own restaurants so I figured I would take all that into consideration. Works out alright being Memorial Day weekend and all, so it is almost like a Saturday.

I am going on a honeymoon, to Cancun actually for 8 days, and yes you can have my admin duties while I'm gone, as long as you don't ban me! NOT
