Nintendo Treehouse Representative Nate Bihldorff has confirmed that Luigi's Mansion 3 will not support any Amiibo in an interview with the YouTube Channel GameXplain. Also, Bihldorff had nothing to announce about DLC, whether the game would have Labo VR support, and even who the composer for Luigi's Mansion 3 is. Luigi's Mansion 3 is planned to release later this Fall.

This is probably a sign of the end of Amiibo. This is one of those games you would have assumed would get Amiibo support. After the Smash line finishes, we might luck out and get a wave of Zelda ones for BoTwo... then again, we are getting an Amiibo for Link's Awakening. Maybe they have a limit of how many figures they will release each year to avoid another Animal Crossing Amiibo Mess situation with overstocking.

Labo VR has a precedence of being added after the fact, and could easily happen here if they wanted to do it.

I'm really surprised at the lack of Amiibo.  I would've expected a Luigi with the Pultergust would've been an easy upsell for the game.
